  • well done

  • more practice.

it´s not ackurate-and it needs to be.

    And tune the base

  • Great piece - great playing.

I heard this back in 1978 in Offenbach Stadthalle with Zawinul, Shorter and Pastorius (sorry can't recall the drummer's name)

It's great to hear you playing this fine tune .... well done.

  • Possibly it was Peter Erskine on drums?

  • omg I had no idea this was on the internet! This was my first year back in the jazz world after a two year break. thank you for the kind words. means alot. I'm still goin'

  • A nice version of the wonderful Joe Zawinul tune ... thanks, nice to know that old song is meaningful to young people. We're in good hands musically if this is the norm.

  • muy bueno!!!!! buenas perfomances de la chica con el saxo y el bajista! un saludo desde buenos aires

  • muchas gracias por ver mi video. estoy contento que te gusto

  • I moved a lot form you guy's performance.

It's Not Perfect, but pretty cool!

    Sometimes Jazz is not perfect

    like calssic music.

But I think it's more attractive

because Human's life and langauge is like that.

Keep up your love to music!

    God bless you*

  • the bassplayer plays sometimes out of tune 1:05-1;08 ouch !

  • haha yea. I was. First ever performance with my fretless :P

I assure you, my intonation has gotten a LOT better from that!

  • No big deal ! I know how hard it is to play the fretless. I have my "oops"-moments too. Still : Lots of respect for choosing this song !

  • Thanks man!

Check out my other videos :)

By the way, I LOVE the videos you've uploaded!

  • The girl she is a blowin'! Go on Ms. Thang, don't stop doin' what you do! Such a beautiful song.

  • Very nice. Keep playing and don't ever stop come what may. That's what this song is about. Bless

    Eddie Ed

  • Thanks for your kind words, man. Greatly appreciated.

Bass, and music are my life. Nothing will stop that!

  • You guys are great :) All the best in your future endevors Mark.

  • Love and respect to the ones upthere, Jaco and Joe !! First heard Weather at 17 and never lost it...

The giants, in an artisticely giant time !! My goodness Dextor, Miles and all the others.

This is the best heritage one can get, more lasting than bronze, as Charlie Parker mentioned it.

Who has all Weather Report's work on LP ?

    Appreciation

    (i'm getting old and sentimental)

  • Not sentimental - just soulful. It's where this music takes you.

  • That part where the bass is sliding up and down never fails to make my spine tingle.

Yes I know I have just described that in a completely non-musician way, but it starts at 4:38 and ends at 5:00.

  • nice to see a weather report tribute of any kind and hear a very nice rendition thank you to who ever performed

  • im sorry i didnt like the version it sounds very heavy and doesnt have the imaginative sound of WR. Besides, i cant imagine this song without wayne shorters sax

  • great version!

    My favorite WR song.

  • Stunningly beautiful.....

  • Thank you very much

  • Hey Mark, great version and I love your tone!

  • Thanks Alvaro!

    I appreciate it!

  • The best version of Weather Report's classic I've heard without the original setting.

You have a great communication between your members and the feeling is there.

  • Thanks very much!
