Hey what do you use to clean your stylus ? I've got the OM-5E and I clean it with a kind of brush when the whole audio system is turned off ... Is it bad for the cartridge ? Thanks !
Nice upgrades on your turntable. I plan on getting that acrylic platter for mine. I plan also on getting some groovetracer upgrades for my Rega (new platter and subplatter). I going to go with a 2m blue for it as well and probably an AT440mla for the PJ Debut III. I may consider that 2m red also based on your comments. That OM5E is not a bad tracker or cart really. It just didn't work for me either on the PJ. It's nice on other tables. That Dylan box is sweet as candy. Nice vid!

Hey, I have the same turntable as you and still have the stock cartridge on it. When the needle reaches the inner grooves of records, probably the last two songs or so, the sound quality goes down a lot. Is this what you meant when you said that the sound gets distorted when it reaches the inner grooves? I thought it might of been an alignment problem, but maybe it's just the cartridge? Thanks.
good video, I have a a pro-ject genie with a the 2m red which i really like aswell. Ill probably upgrade the platter soon. Ive had to tape the slip mat to the platter because my records would stick to the mat when i remove the record...pretty annoying
Hey, me again lol. Do you if that platter works on the Music Hall 2.2 as well? Isn't that basically the same table as the PJ3. It even comes with the PJ tone arm lol.
@mrhoffame I know for a fact that the Pro-Ject Acryl-It platter fits perfectly on the MH2.2 Apparently (like you said) they're like identical tables in terms of design, and most parts/upgrades are interchangeable.
It's great man, I can't recommend it enough. It KILLS static and it's super nice to not have to bother with a slipmat either.

The vintage Ortofon are very good, i have a M20FL Super and a 2M red i prefer the vintange one, just find a good stylus.

The Ortofon 2M Red and 2M Blue in my opinion are really good. I have the Ortofon 2M Blue on my turntable and it sounds great.
