1080 Snowboarding VC Review

I remember playing this game very briefly at someone's house when I was about 5 or so. I don't even remember whose hose it was.

Just kind of odd, how I remembered this game when I saw the video title.

Yeah the same's happened to me before, I've been watching a vid thinking "Why does this feel familiar" and then I'll just get a flash of playing it. I've even played games that I'd swore I'd never played before XD I'd just totally forgotten about them XD

They gave me this game but I never played it because the title and picture never got me interested when I was little but now I'm considering getting it on the Wii I have almost all the N64 VC games

Nice video i just recently got an N64 and i have been going though your N64 reviews and checking out which ones i like the most. I just have one question. In your opinion is this the best snowboarding game on the N64?

I'll be honest from the start, this is the only snowboarding game I've ever played that I've liked. So I'm not much help because I'm not a snowboarding games fan.

I mean I'd heard raves reviews about Snowboard Kids but I hated it. But as I say, I don't normally like the games, so it's a little hard to know if I hated it because it was a bad snowboarding game or not.

first thing i did when i saw this was laugh, i had a nintendo for about 10 years before it broke. awsome, much more reliable than consols that get sold these days "ps3 xbox360 etc..."

Well with the exception of Bionic then I think the rest is due to licensing laws so maybe one day they'll hopefully hit, but a few I don't think can ever hit because of there size (Ninty doesn't allow large games for download) and Bionic Ninty themselves stopped Capcom from putting the NES one on the VC, they refused it point blank.

Capcom came out and actually said this because they were sick of recieving e-mails about Bio coming to the VC.

Well Re-Armed is due to size I believe, the NES one, nothing official, just rumours about them not wanting Nazi's on the console.

Kinda a reduntant argument what with the COD games though.

OK friends :-) Now that we own Wiis, let be honest, we NEED to start voting for better games for Virtual Console, WiiWare & Virtual Arcade. I am happy with what they have, but lets be honest...where is our Snatcher, OutRunners (Arcade), TMNT, Simpsons, Bionic Commando Re Armed, MegaMan & Bass, Alien Vs Predator (Capcom), Policenauts....we can go on & on. We need these games. Remember these?

There's so many reasons why a few of those will never hit.

The biggest one with Bionic is because Ninty won't allow it.

And you can vote all you want, Ninty are bastards and never listen, we've been trying this for years :(

I also remember it always looking like I'm landing properly yet I'll stumble and lose momentum anyway. The game has some magical idea of the proper position on the board to be flat that you never know what it is.

I didn't like this game very much when I rented it as a kid. It was an overly complicated mess to do the bulk of the tricks and for a few of them it's impossible to do them, even in the training mode even though it gives you the button instructions to do them. I remember it being something like "half circle up, half circle down, rotate stick 360 twice" or something like that. Completely annoying and unnecessary.

I was born during the winter in Minnesota in the northern parts of the US. I can very well tolerate below zero temperatures. I often times have my coat unzipped.
