I have read many translations of this same scripture. Most translations fail to agree with one another with the exception of KJV and the Revised Standard . I was looking at 6 translations or versions reading all 6 across two pages in a paralel translation of the N.T. Jesus said in Luke 17 verse 37 "Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eaagles be gathered together." Some versions read "dead body and vultures" some read "corpse and vultures". The KJV reads "body and eagles."
Pastor I also prefer to read from the KJV. Tell me what Luke 17 vs34-37 means to you please. I believe the disciples asked a sincere question of Jesus. Jesus answered them more completely than they realized because He not only told them where the missing people were going He also told them specifically who they were. I asked God to reveal the meaning to me because at first I was as confused as I am sure the disciples were with Jesus's answer.
