The Orange County Police Department did not do a good job at investigating because if it was a result of hazing then certain people should have never left Orlando. I was chorale style too and neither I nor my freshmen siblings were hazed like that in the Marching 100. Dr. White didn't join the band until 1959, you should check your facts. Just because you couldn't hack it, doesn't make it right for you bad mouth them. Besides they have concert bands soooo you def could've continued playing.

I don't know if this dude on the video is full of siht or not, but unless some of you TRULY know what happened to Mr. Champion, you might want to be careful how vigorously you defend the Marching 100.

We've seen what has gone on at Penn St and now at Syracuse. Unbelievable type things that you'd thing wouldn't go on at a university or by university officials.

Three days ago the Orange county sheriffs department has said that hazing was the cause of his death because of the various allegations that have been posted on social networks that have hinted toward hazing being a cause. The investigation has uncovered nothing but circumstantial evidence that will not hold up in court with out supporting physical evidence which is the results of the autopsy or video evidence anything else is hearsay or as i said before circumstantial.

For NON HBCU Band Members: First...you need to understand what it takes to be in a TOP HBCU Marching Band. 25-40 Hours of practice a wk., Memorizing tons of Music, Marching field drills to music, learning the concepts of marching, countless hours of practicing EVERYTHING!! The only thing truthful you said in this video is, people can only do to you what you allow. Which means most hazing incidents, whether it's a black college or white college, club or organization, comes from consenting adults. That means the person getting hazed wanted to be hazed. Not only FAMU, I can't say all, but most HBCU bands haze. My son crabbed the band this year, and before he even got to band camp, he already knew about what was going to happen. So if the kids know before they get to school, then the admin. knows, they just turn BLIND EYE, or DEAF EAR to it. My son didn't cross his section so they call him FAKE not REAL. He is alive and that's all that matters to me. PLEASE STOP THE HAZING!!!!!!
