It was pretty much confirmed by Ishiwatari himself that Ark System Works had lost the rights to GG to Sega Shit Fail Incorporated in an interview with Gamasutra.

How such a thing happens is beyond me seeing how Sega has no money and fail so hard they can't even make a good game for their flagship character [or any good game at all for that matter].

Now we have to settle with it's toned down counterpart [BB].

At this point? She's still frozen. Before the start of the game, Valentine used a magic that sublimates Gears in Illyria. Ky used his Thunderseal to stop time around her to save her.

Also, is Testament dead? I assume since he never shows up to save Dizzy from fading out of existence or protect Valentine, that he is out of the picture somehow. Doesnt he die in one of his Accent Core Plus endings?

I don't think Testament died in either ending in Accent Core plus.

For all we know, he didn't know what happened in Illyria. The events were quick after all, just like how the Jellyfish didn't know anything about what happened yet.

Or he was also a target for the sublimation caused by Valentine...which could mean he himself faded from existence.

Well the real answer to all the mysteries in this series is that ArcSys didn't have the budget or the effort to make the plot of overture actually interesting.

Well, Sol's slightly nicer...Ky's a king who married a Gear (With a high probability of said Gear being Dizzy), Sin is his son, Aria could have been Justice from before......And the copies that are apparently being created.

Well not to rain on your parade but you saying you know shows that you haven't quite done your homework fully...not trying to insult you or anything, but theres a chance it's not, there was a Gear woman called Solaria in the guilty gear novel Lightning the Argent, who if I recall was referred to in by a name simialr to the one that the frozen gear woman in this one is, 'the maiden of the grove'.
