  • Americans like anyone else on earth enjoy their lifestyle ONLY after FIGHTING for it at HOME! So the idea that American armed forces are responsible for others' freedom and lifestyle serves as only a decoy to divert Americans' away from the injustices at HOME! Only the Iraqis and Afghanis can fight for their own freedom and lifestyle just like our ancestors did.

  • It's right there in the 1st amendment, "redress of grievances" - words we should be living by & don't these days because corporations have hijacked our legislative process.

  • Think Obama would do the same? ... NO.

  • @expatted oh hell no. obama can't carry FDR or even LBJ's jock for that matter

  • The actual facts (rather than progressive populist propaganda) about 1937 America can be found in detail and context in Amity Schlae's book, "The Forgotten Man" which proves the disaster of FDR'd New Deal and government prolonging the Great Depression. It can also be found in the full understanding of the law of supply and demand.

  • @rjspeleton you mean Hoover's great depression!

  • *GOOSEBUMPS

  • Back in nineteen hundred and twenty-five There were thousands of people struggling to survive. There was hunger, unemployment and poverty, Then in 1926 they decided to be free So they all went on strike and The workers told the unions, who blamed it on the government, The politicians blamed it on the strikers and the militants, Everybody's guilty and everybody's innocent, But the fact of it is nobody gives any more. RAY DAVIES (The KINKS)
  • Where's our Roosevelt, where's our Roosevelt, oh where's our Roosevelt. He's certainly not sitting on our National Mediation Board!

  • Gostamos e indicamos para tod@s.

  • Wheee ... I knew this was a significant date!!! 75 years ago today (at 12:20pm) I was born.

Now I know why I’m so willing to fight for the rights of all citizens –

to march and carry a great big sign whenever anyone tries to deny us our birthright!!

It’s in my blood ... it was in the air on the day I was born!

  • To me, the problem is like a pendulum. The remedy went too far - who of us doesn't know of an incident of over-zealous union policy making it possible for a company to pay somebody for nothing. The unions protect dead beats. We know this. At the same time, the unions are necessary to protect workers rights. Where is common sense?

  • Thanks Mike from a Canuck.

  • This is a great history lesson from one of the great patriots of our time, Michael Moore.

  • #OCCUPYWALLSTREET

  • @Yankhadenough that's exactly what i was gonna say!!!!!

    Peace

  • Capitalism is simply a bi-product of Liberty. The greater the Liberty the greater the Capitalism. If you are Anti-Capitalism you are Anti-Liberty.

  • conservatives wrap themselves in the american flags and hide behind the holy cross and thinks that makes them right. It is sad....ignore them, they will never change their mind, lets get the message acrosss. this isnt what america is about. they are hyprocrites. they have been against every agenda that has got america to greatness, againts segreation, voting rights for women, against interacial marriage, abortion, gay marriage, imigration, regulation for wallstreet, socail programs...

  • Where did you go Mr. Roosevelt, a nation turns its lonely eyes to you...

  • Interesting!

  • my great grandfather was a sitdowner, my grandmother told us how the women and children marched right through the hired thugs, not one of them wanted to be the first one to hit a woman, they had bags of food for the strikers hidden in the middle of the mass of people , we owe this generation for many of the labor laws we take for granted today, they earned them for us

  • That's why F.D.R was one of the best presidents in U.S history and Aroundsun if you want to be a smarty pants it is not a constitutional Republic. That is not a form of government. It is a Democratic Republic. So when you try and outsmart someone you should know what you're talking about.

  • This movie shows Corporatism not Capitalism. America was never a democracy, it is a constitutional republic. God I am getting sick and tired of teaching history and economics to liberals on the internet.

  • @AroundSun You can thank our presidents for engraving Democracy into our countrymen's brains.

  • america is lost, I guess they were doomed from the beggining. I think its hilarious when americans say that the US is #1. Noone is gonna change this american corruption. America will sink and "a new world order" will be restored.

  • GOAL OF GOP IS DESTROY UNIONS

  • Workers of the world, unite!

Stop sitting around waiting for someone else to fix it, stop standing idly by on the sidelines while our pensions, wages, healthcare and homes are stolen.

Crapitalism is a disease which must be purged.

  • FDR CREATED THE MIDDLE CLASS ! GOP DESTROYED IT !!!

  • Capital: is the means of production. Human Capital: is the ability to perform labor to produce economic value. So, everyone making money from Mr. Moore to CEOs are capitalist. All countries produce something, so they too are capitalist; the difference is the ownership and control of the Capital via their government dictates. Moore does not realize his issue is with virtue when a culture loses its morality; as demonstrated by the US not following its Constitution is the source of his nemesis.

  • yeah .....then turncoat roosevelt signed the amoral"new deal" the bankers (and the freshly created (in 1913)IRS and "federal reserve banking system")had been working on for decades. that new monster of a deal took america off the gold standard. its been dowhill ever since.the rothschilds of england and the queen love this new deal. it makes them owners of america, literaly. americans havent the slightest frickin clue

  • Blah blah blah interesting video blah blah blah

  • GOIP ! DESTROYING THE AMERICAN ECONOMY SINCE 1929 !!

  • Socialism is the better alternative, But the lies from the Capitalists prevent it from coming. It will start eventually, even with Capitalism's hindrance.

  • actually we have to worry a fair bit about illegal immigrants as we have very large boarders to defend

also we do have race riots although i cant see how that would affect a unionized work force.

but anyway the unions have helped our workforce a lot, you can't descredit the idea based on cold war ideals of combating communism.

when our workers are mis-treated we have somewhere to go

when we are underpaid we can do something about it.

  • GOP DROVE AMERICA INTO A DITCH ! NOW THEY WANT THE KEYS BACK ?

  • I also heard the Mob supported the workers also weird huh. ? then again Al Copown ( I know I spelled it wrong ) open the first soup kitchen during the depression......!

  • FDR BUILT THE MIDDLE CLASS ! GOP DESTROYED IT !

  • @letnamsiew Yes pretty much.....!

  • @letnamsiew Henry Ford built the middleclass - not FDR. A PRIVATE CORPORATION !

  • @MetalDetroit Yeah when they had good unions companies like Wal Mart have no unions therefore shit wages. Also there is nothing wrong with people being rewarded for innovation..THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG with the way the wealth are rewarded in America today which is far beyond what is reasonable, just, or of value.

  • @longhairsRcool Lomng before there were union - Henry Ford was paying his employees $5.oo per day when the average wage was 35 cents per hour.

unions may have done some good - but look at NOW. Chrysler union workers going out and smoking pot and drinking on their lunch breaks. While other people would kill for their jobs. You know damn well the union is going to back these bums. I wouldn't blame Chyrsler if they shipped their jobs to China.

  • @MetalDetroit I agree Unions can run awry to something that is not good. The general idea of a union though is simply workers getting together and agreeing for certain money and benefits or they will strike. If you believe in America and capitalism this is within a group of employees rights. Labor is a service and what can happen is Unions become a business themselves and try to make labor scarce. That's what capitalism is you get rewarded for making things scarce labor being no exception.

  • @longhairsRcool The problem is - labor is NOT scarce. These companies could get workers from anywhere to do these jobs.

Counting wages and benefits - it costs the Auto companies $75 PER HOUR per UAW worker. And it still isn't enough ! Why do you think jobs are sent oversees ?

It is cheaper to manufacture in foreigh countries than here.

  • @MetalDetroit It's not scarce but the unions are trying to MAKE IT SCARCE by threatening strike. Basically saying pay us this much or were all quit and you will have nothing and no skilled workers. You are also bringing up the exception not the rule. Most Americans don't make 75 dollars an hour you're a nut if you think so. Millions of Americans work for 8 dollars an hour at places like Target. Perhaps Ford was a good man but the company isn't his anymore I know Same Walton was a good man.

  • @longhairsRcool PART 2: the problem is the people that own these companies now aren't entrepreneurs you act like poor entrepreneurs keep owning these companies or something it was taken over long ago by Wall Street. Also if you want to complain about pay how about lets also talk about the ridiculous compensation packages of CEOS these day. There are many CEOS in total compensation that make 5 dollars a minute every minute of everyday even when they shit.

  • @longhairsRcool PART 3: That's many times more than the workers make the CEOS made millions and if you recall flew in on corporate jets while begging congress for our tax money, and you still think it's everyday hard workers that are the problem: You have some reality issues. You sound like an ultra conservative ultra Christian nut.

  • @longhairsRcool What drives me nuts about most liberals is - they talk about the nameless - faceless "evil rich" bankers, wall street execs - but ignore some of the richest people in the world: George Soros, Oprah, The Kennedys, Al Gore, John Kerry. union members - of which I know many - complain about corporate execs making millions - meanwhile - union executives make millions off the backs of union workers. the UAW owns several golf courses that are reserved for union execs. - fact !

  • @MetalDetroit George Soros is one of the evil Wall Street Fucks that I am talking about. Oprah is over-paid and full of shit, Al-Gore complain about global warming while flying a corporate jet (full of shit too) John Kerry looks like a scare Crow, and I've already admitted there are CORRUPT unions. The initial idea of a union is workers UNITING so as to demand better compensation there's nothing wrong with that. There is something wrong with it when it turns into a corrupt business too.

  • @longhairsRcool That sounds like a good article on my web site dude my site is greedworld .d.o.t. c.o.m. An article "The Democrats Won't Save Your From The Wealthy" and Talk about George Soros he's another enemy to the general public as are the ceos of many of these large companies like Wal Mart. As are the major shareholders of these companies. Speaking of something annoying super repubs like Glen Beck always talk about how everyone has invested in these companies in their mutal funds

  • @longhairsRcool When in reality most of the general public owns little or NO STOCK in these companies. The vast majority of all stock and all wealth for that matter are owned by the richest 1% and the richest 5 to 10%own all but 10% of it. The 10% is left over the the poorest 90% ohh thank you so much. So it's insulting to hear these guys like Beck talk about my 401K when in reality it's guys like him that really own the company most people down't own one share.

  • Republicans and their neo con ilk need to be exterminated, point blank...

  • Roosevelt, what a brave president.

  • It amazes me that America consistently loses to nearly every other developed country in Human Development Index, happiness rate, amount of freedom, and satisfaction with healthcare polls. Yet still spouts off about how it's the greatest country in the world, and no one else besides Muslim fundamentalists ever refute this blatant fallacy. The only thing America is the best at... is putting people in prison. We have the highest percentage of our population in prison of any country in the world.

  • @Jarut195 It amazes me how stupid the average american is, googling polls and calling it evidence.

  • @Jarut195 We are not as homogenized as the countries you are probably citing. So the US should have a curve on those statistics.

  • @Nazgul001 So then we are even. We attacked some democracies, but defended some too. We're not bad, and we're not good either. Yes?

  • I would disagree. The US has been a villain to some and a savior to others. But if you look at human history, the US would have to be judged as one of the more benevolent empires of all time. If not, from Canada to Chile, Japan to Korea, the American way of life and language would have been imposed. The Native Americans were on the receiving end of a horrible injustice to them....BUT, no one weeps for neolithic peoples. Do the Gauls cry for vengeance against Italy for the crimes of Rome?

  • @Nazgul001 True, the Gauls don't blame the Romans. But why would the Gauls blame them? The Romans brought them democracy, a rich culture, and civilization. And as far as I know, the Romans treated their conquered peoples kindly. The Americans on the other hand, persecuted the Natives, they pushed them out of their lands, didn't allow them to marry whites, vote and they started several wars with them.

I'm not complaining, what's done is done, but still, America can't claim omni-benevolence.

  • @Jarut195 I know you wrote this a year ago but the romans did not treat their conquered people kindly at all.

After they defeated the people they pillage the territory of precious metals and goods, then they enslaved the populace, and after that they gave huge parcels of land to roman citizens.

They did not treat their subordinates kindly at all and they were extremely xenophobic, their word for foreigner is barbarian.

  • FDR was not perfect, his involvement with the supposed illuminati bugs me, but he's a good man, him and Teddy. Easily two of the best presidents the united states has ever had. Fuck Glenn Beck for smearing a fucking hero.

  • In Australia we have had unions for nearly 100 years and so far all that has happened is fair pay and better working conditions... so it works great for us the world didn't end and everyone is happy

  • @Valor816 Yeah but Australia is what 17 million people? We're talking the US here. It's not like you have to worry about illegals taking jobs, race riots every 10 years, or defending the free world, etc.

  • @Nazgul001 America doesn't have to defend the free world. In fact, America doesn't defend the free world. They claim we went into Iraq because Saddam was a tyrant and he oppressed his people. I'm not going to refute that, but what about Cuba? What about Darfur, North Korea, Somalia, Ethiopia? The citizens of all those countries live in crippling poverty and oppressive rule from those in power. Why haven't we invaded them?

  • @Jarut195 The US picks it's battles. JFK limply tried to get Cuba back from Communism, and there is a South Korea thanks to the war that was fought there. I won't event get into the Cold War, but look that one up for a lesson on defending the free world.

  • @Nazgul001 You're right, throughout the Cold War, the U.S. toppled democratically elected leaders in developing nations and installed fascist dictators to make sure that these developing countries stayed clear of Communism. Iran, Bolivia, Chile, the list goes on.

  • @Jarut195 I love how you left off the list, West Germany, South Korea, Japan, Italy, etc.

  • @Nazgul001 After World War II I'm pretty sure America didn't fight anyone in West Germany, Japan or Italy. Obviously though, we did fight against the fascist (pseudo-Communist) North Koreans in the Korean War.

  • @Jarut195 no dude the rebuilt/defended those counties or helped them stave off communist/Stalinistic regimes. I should have been more clear.

  • Why do conservatives have to post such violent comments on the internet, condoning violence of innocent human beings. You are such good christians.

  • @dsoto01

Jesus was a socialist, I am Christian and I do not believe capitalism should be assumed to be related to Christianity.

It was just the way of the catholic church, and what they did was not right.

Please do not ever assume that all Christians are capitalists.

  • @malcandcookies "Jesus is a socialist" truly you are insane. Jesus advocated compassion for the poor among us. To give willingly. Studies have shown that those "evil rich Republicans: give far more of a percentage of their earnings to the poor than Democrats do. To take something away by force (taxes) to give to the poor is not compassion. giving freely to the poor with no expectation of being repaid is compassion .

  • @dsoto01 and the tolerant liberals post about killing Palin, calling conservatives scum, and other vile things. so much for liberal tolerance.

  • @MetalDetroit

cause we all want a 50% income tax which will slow down any economic progress in the society

  • @ssahagun1 Every company that out sources, and its executives that are making over 250k a yr. should be paying 50% plus a penalty tax to make up for all the displaced workers, and left unemployed elderly workers, the middle income tax payer should not be picking up the tab for these traitors that outsource jobs to China, then import it back here to exploit the middle class, Walmart is a prime example. I can name hundreds of major companies that do exactly that!

  • @stcrzyaatyrs

I somewhat agree with you about the outsourced jobs

Do you know how much WalMart helps small business?

when you go to a Walmart look around the surrounding area...

Its flourshing with several business that have no affliation with walmart.

The walmart in lynwood washington has atrracted 30 stores with in 5 square miles that were not there before

  • Plz restore some inkling of faith I may have had in people's ability to reason and think by telling me you don't believe the validity in your argument's position. You're just sayin' that right? I went to googlemaps to check out these "30 stores' you mentioned (btw, correction spelling is 'Lynnwood'). We're talking places like Walgreens, JiffyLube, a taco place, some pub, GameStop, Starbucks, Curves. 100% Minimum Wage jobs, dude. This nation was built on manufacturing. Get it? Wake up.

  • @PattySoandSo

    including all the houses.

none of those stores where there before is somthing you don't understand.

    thats ALOT of jobs.

and look behind the walmart dumbshit

more small business that are now thriving thanks to walmart

  • @PattySoandSo

    me wake up?

    right

you've most likely have been poor/middle class your whole life

and don't even know what its like to be rich.

don't talk shit if about been you don't understand

  • @MetalDetroit

srry bro meant to comment to shades of misery

  • @dsoto01 CONSERVATIVES ARE NOT BAD PEOPLE ! THEY ARE EVIL PEOPLE !!

  • @dsoto01 Because 1) they are afraid of everything, and living in constant fear makes you angry 2) they hate everyone, and constant hate makes you angry 3) they are dumber than fence posts, and being stupid makes you angry 4) they are venal and cheap at the same time, and being venal and cheap makes you angry. So they are all just large flabby pink boiling cauldrons of fearful, hateful, stupid, venal and cheap anger.

  • WOW...it's an unbelievable story!!!

It's hard to believe that the United States one day was actually a democratic country and that it's president actually cared for it's people!!!

  • @zoom1177 i know. look far we came.

  • @zoom1177 So, todays caring amazing and fantastic president doesnt sit well with a hypocrit like you?

  • @zoom1177 What do you speak of? President Obama speaks of sincerity and a better United States, it's the Republican party that holds him back. It's IMPOSSIBLE to get a bill through congress.

  • @Muzzly1234 There isn't much difference between the Republican and Democrats by the way. Ask Rick Sanchez.

The fact that it's Impossible to get a bill through congress while democrats supposedly holds the majority says a lot about how is this country runs.

  • 0:55 So let me get this straight?

The National Guard aims all it's weapons at the thug police force, and the greedy fat cats and they provide bread and food to the workers during the strike?

And this won done by Order of THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES??

    Lol I must be dreaming...

  • @gundamWWW for some reason it doesnt sound right

  • @gundamWWW idk I've done some research but it seems different than this depiction (slight differences.). In 1936 (December) UAW a workers union directly participated in the strike, and provided food to the workers who were held up in the factory. Since the factory was imperative to GM they payed off cops, and hired thugs to in a sense wage a war of attrition against the strikers (i.e. tear gas, riot guns, blocking off food supplies.)

  • @gundamWWW This led to several riots that occurred outside of the factory, and several people died. Upon hearing this Governor Murphy sent in 4,000 (i think that numbers correct) National Guard troops to stabilize the area outside of the factory, and allow strikers to get food. Now FDR didn't send troops but after GM filed two court injunctions that won (But were overturned, Judges owned large amounts of GM stock) The fed interfered and forced the union to meet with GM and mediate a settlement.

  • @VinceFSU07

I guess made it a bit more "dramtic" then it actually was.

    Thats Hollywood!

  • @gundamWWW ya definitely sounds a little over embellished in Michael Moore's depiction of the event, but it's still in a relative way historically accurate.

  • @gundamWWW FDR was one of the best presidents we had...i mean sure the new deal didn't really get america out of the depression, but he was a true leader especially during the global crisis that was WW2

  • @fluffynoses

FDR was a horrible president. He signed the Japanese internment camp order stripping Japanese Americans of their constitutional rights. He doesn't care about the constitution at all, just like Obama today.

  • @pf91rodman yeah that was definitely a dark stain on his presidency. and he also gets more credit for the New Deal. that being said I wouldn't say he is a horrible president in fact scholars consistently rank him top three

  • @zoom1177 America was never a democracy, it is a constitutional republic

  • It was not the unions fighting for workers rights & fair pay that bankrupted GM. It was corporate greed & an inability to adapt to the times and give the people what they want.

    Like electric cars!

  • Look at GM and the city of Detroit. It has fallen apart, the unions are so strong that the city has died. Not only the UAW but the teachers unions have destroyed the city and now the American auto companies are struggling, and the graduation rate in Detroit is about 30% I believe. The truth is the government needs to regulate not only the companies, but needs to regulate the unions and not allow either to become to strong, and the people need to do their job and regulate the government.

  • Free the nation, we know, you can vigorously google things, but that doesn't make you a teacher.

  • If you watched the videos I have edited on my channel, you would know that the knowledge is all in my head. That's what happens when you quit playing video games and you read books. You get smart.

  • @FreeTheNation I find it difficult to beleive someone like you who can contain all this knowledge in your head, you can't even form an intelligent opinion. I read, of course you assume that I don't because... well, I don't know. I think it's arrogance.

  • Good morning Class!

    Today's assignment:

Find out everything you an about F.A. Hayek and report back to me.

  • @FreeTheNation You

    are

    not

    a

    fucking

    teacher

    you weird little kid.

  • @FreeTheNation Hayak is a political philosopher

people subscribe to different philosophies, learn to fucking deal with it. And the fact his philosophies are paranoid ramblings that have yet to come true.

you fucking idiot. Take your abundance of knowledge and formulate an opinion. Yes, we can read, you are a god of men or whatever you think you are, cool. put it to use.

  • CLASS - Do you see how your esteemed classmate reacted to his lack of wisdom and knowledge. You see, knowledge is a VERY powerful tool. It is very intimidating for some people to be challenged on the foundations of their beliefs. What we have seen is that Cheshireacat55 is baffled and confused. He is used to spouting baseless opinions.

I will post the correct answer to the question I posed.

  • @FreeTheNation Who is listening to you?

how many people are in your mystical horny fantasy of a classroom?

  • Hayek is the NOBEL Prize winning economist responsible for the Austrian Theory of Economics. Austrian Economists like Peter Schiff and Tom Woods (resident scholar at the Ludwig von Mises institute) have been able to accurately predict the economic collapse that the world is in the early stages of dealing with.

We have a long way to go.

Of course, our esteemed colleague never heard of this because he hasn't read ANY of the major works. Therefore his opinion is based on NOTHING.

  • @FreeTheNation So only people who agree with his politics can only be Nobel prize winners?

you say accurately, how so? can they provide examples? Why should their word be taken like gospel? are they fortune tellers? by saying "accurately" you imply it's happened before.

I had to read him for my econ class. I have read his works. Him and keynes. comparative politics brohound

  • Captalism is in no way related to police brutality.

  • HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT FOR TONIGHT:

    1. Exeuctive Order 9250

    2. Executive Order 6102

    3. What is the history of the first "public option" ever offered to the American People.

    4. How is it possible for poor Americans to buy a house with little or no money down????

    5. What is significantly dangerous about the Bretton Woods Treaties??

    6. What would happen if we would have allowed the banks and insurance companies to collaspe?? Who would have been hurt the most.

    7. Can the collapse be stopped?

  • @FreeTheNation You're not a teacher, please stop with this odd little fantasy. it's creepy.

  • Comment removed

  • OK CLASS - WHAT DID WE LEARN TODAY FROM OUR ESTEEMED COLLEAGUES???

I have heard ONE articulate statement backed by Fact and Research.

I have heard MANY bad names being called with NO INTELLECTUAL SUPPORT

I have heard absolutely NO factual references from the major works on economics, history, Philosophy, or Constitutional law from any person, other than nonameposter....

I think nonameposter had it incorrect...but kudos to him for actually being able to back his opinion with some facts

  • Comment removed

  • @FreeTheNation For someone who likes to read a lot, you're pretty dumb.

  • Comment removed

  • A very good story within a very good movie.

  • Comment removed

  • kill the corporation!!!

  • @thecloudswillattack

    Kill the Communist!!

  • @FreeTheNation easy McCarthy

  • just making a point about his comment.

  • do you even know the basis of communism or do you just repeat what your told?

  • @thecloudswillattack

i understand the basis of all forms of socialism and communism. To what are you referring?

Do you think that Americans own their land??

Think my friend. How can you own something that you must pay to keep?

Perhaps this is too deep of a concept.

Think about how Americans finance their homes....through the government santioned Federal Reserve. Think about the interest and how it is paid before the principle.

Think of what a tax on property truly means.

  • Beautiful story.

  • I LOVE RICH PEOPLE.

They give me jobs, money and food on my table.

hip hip hooray for the RICH!!!!

    Thank GOD for them.

I HATE Socialists like Michael Moore.

He tries to get me to hate others who hire me and pay me.

He is a dumb ass and anyone who likes him has no original thought

  • You have to be joking! Right? I don't want to think I live in a world with someone as stupid as you.

I sure hope your SUGAR DADDIES take very good care of you!

Because with out Union protections, and

"BIG", "EVIL", "SCAREY GOVT" regulations, the unrestrained greed and Conservative Sociopathy sure treated us workers real well around the turn of the century!

I could just hear you at your future job..........."Well golly gee massah, I shows like workin' fo dem peanuts."

    FUQQIN" TOOL!

  • Wrong again.

    PAY ATTENTION CLASS.

I ADD THE VALUE THAT EMPLOYERS DESIRE....SO I AM NEVER OUT OF WORK, NEVER WITHOUT OPPORTUNITIES, NEVER WITHOUT THE OFFER OF MORE MONEY....

You see, I learned how Freedom works.

    It's quite simple.

Be great at what you do, work hard at something productive and the Market place will reward you.

Unions are fine, so long as they are not sanctioned by the Federal Government.

Sadly, they are and if there was ever a tool, it would be the unions.

  • @SickBoyZap5

the only "sugar daddy" taking care of me is the tiny bit of Liberty I have left. The regulations you refer to above are part of the "police Powers", Which are reserved for State and Local Governments and not the over-bloated, bankrupted FEDZILLA that redistributes wealth in exchange for votes from people who want a free ride.

Please protect me Government....Life has been so "dangerous" without all of you big government people keeping me safe.

    LOL.....

  • @SickBoyZap5 The ONLY safety is the safety that we will have once this BEAST has been dismantled and constrained within it's legal authorities as embedded in our Constitution.

You socialists all pay lip service to the constitution and don't even know what's in it.

You ought to read it, front to back. It's not writeen in Chinese....at least not yet.

  • @FreeTheNation You're not too bright are you? tragic

  • @Cheshirecat55

    oh no,,,,very bright......very accomplished........very well studied.

  • @FreeTheNation Obviously not...

  • @Cheshirecat55

It never ceases to amaze me when someone has the smallest amount of information. Read all of Madison's writings. He wasn't against having a federal government....no. He was FOR having one with massively restricted powers.... Michale Moore is quite the opposite. Hmmmm....let me think....Madison? Moore? Madison? Moore.??

    Moore is a dumbass

    Madison is a genius.

    That was easy

  • @FreeTheNation Madison was for Checks and balances, not small government you tool. Jesus, you spout how well educated and successful you are and what a fucking political genius you are, yet you can't even distinguish small government politics from separation of fucking powers?

you don't seem to realize the differences in years either. 1787 and 2009 are two very large leaps.

you keep insulting Moore... yet I have yet to hear you explain why.

  • CLASS - I must correct this young man.

Madison can easily be researched. He wrote thousands and thousands of pages about keeping the FEDERAL government restrained....even 'BOUND BY THE CHAINS OF THE CONSTITUTION..." Madison was BEST friends with Jefferson and they had dinner together regularly. Both Jefferson and Madison wanted the Federal Government to be as small as humanly possible.

  • Cheshirecat55 - YOU SEE CLASS - Cheshirecat55 is VERY frustrated because he doesn't know anything. If he was well read, he would know that the seperation of Powers was actually something that ADAMS was passionate about. Madison and Jefferson also believed in it, but were MOST concerned about limiting both the power and size of the federal government. PERIOD.

Please read a bit more before you make comments that make you look less intelligent

  • @FreeTheNation You're really creepy.

  • You ought to read about Marxens Solidarity with Lincoln to understand what the US was for the working class of Europe from 1750 to 1850.

Americans seem to be brainwahsed theses days...

  • I consider John Locke's and Adam Smith's works on the matter the final word.

I don't believe that a perfect system exists. I agree whole heartedly with Jefferson when He stated " I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it."

The main difference between you and me is that I don't believe that government can either help the working class or have any say in such matters.

  • Before instrumentalizing Smith, you should have read his moral works! Liberty is not the Liberty of the Capital, the Liberty from social rights. The government will not help the working class. This were utopian. The working class must fight for every improvment and must force politians/capitalists to do what is in the interest of the majority.

There is enough wealth. It is just not shared in a respectable manner.

  • @nonameposter

You are the most articulate person on this site. As intelligent as you must be, YOU MUST know that the ENTIRE foundation of the ENTIRE struggle to create this country was to be free from Government interference. You also MUST be aware of Locke's work, Montesquieu's work, the influences of Cicero, Blackstone, Polybius and the other major thinkers who the founders studied. It is in EVERY WORD of EVER WRITING that they oppose what you just said.

  • @FreeTheNation yes, you learned about john locke and Madison in high school, you're a genius god of all men. You keep citing shit, with no content. Mate, the idea of a debate is to present you argument then add a source. Don't just add a source and just expect us to formulate a fucking argument FOR you.

  • Oh to the contrary.

I believe I have posted more content than all of you combined....possibly in only one of my entries.

Companies are private property. Like it or not, they can do whatever they want, within the law.

  • The Suffering about to befall the "working class" as a result of a completely corrupt government with WAY too much unauthorized power, is going to be unimaginable. When people finally realize that the Welfare State is a sham..that it could never have worked, isn't working and will collapse...they are going to be quite angry at all of the Leftist social engineers that put them into this predicament. Then, all you will have less is the ENVY card, which has been overplayed.

  • @FreeTheNation You don't seem to fucking understand checks and balances, do you?

What mystical welfare state are you crying about?

Social engineering is NOT part of the left you moron. The war on drugs is not a leftist one. The banning of gay marriage is not a leftist one. The banning of vices, abortion, prostitution. .. All of that was perpetrated by conservatives.

  • @Cheshirecat55

The "Mystical" Welfare state is the one I listed earlier. I'll go real slow for the impaired:

    1. The Social Security and Medicare Trustfunds - 107 TRILLION unfunded.

    2. National Debt of a BLOATED FEDERAL Monstrosity of 14T with another 12 TRILLION projected over 10 years.

    3. UNLIMITED bailouts for mortgage holders. UNLIMITED.

    4. 9 TRILLION in monetized debt by the Federal Reserve.

    5. The FHA, HUD, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Sallie Mae....

    For Starters..........

  • @FreeTheNation you named things. yay

now lets piece the puzzle together.

where is the mystical welfare state you're crying about?

  • @Cheshirecat55

Here is a partial list of the Welfare State:

    1. 50% of tax payers pay 97.3% of the tax.

    2. MANDATED participation in a Social Welfare Retirement program that is bankrupted and corrupt...not to mention completely unconstitutional and a PONZI Scheme.

    3. MANDATED participation in a welfare MEDICARE MEDICAID system that is even more bankrupted and corrupt than SS.

    4. MANDATED taxes to pay bail out FANNIE MAE and FREDDIE MAC so poor people can stay in houses they can't afford.

  • @Cheshirecat55

    5. mandated taxation to pay for HUD, the FHA, The Community Investment Act and a host of other Welfare programs designed to FORCE banks to lend money to people who shouldn't be getting loans.

    6. 300 million dollars in bribes promised to Louisiana for State welfare.

    7. Billiions promised to Nebraska in a bribe to buy a vote. I would have to pay taxes to give free medicaid to Nebraskan citizens.

    8. MOST federal workers

That ought to get you started

  • @FreeTheNation You say a lot of shit, but none of it seems to come together.

  • @Cheshirecat55

On social matters....I never said they were part of what you call the "left". You are confusing the word "Conservative" in it's real meaning with "pop conservativism."

Those matters were perpetrated by the NEO Conservatives. True Conservatives believe in limited government and maximum liberty. That is why I don't support Republicans any more than Democrats. Had you reviewed my channel closely, you would have seen that.

  • @FreeTheNation Regardless of classic terms, the way American politics uses them is what we're talking about now. And by the way, sparky, that's libertarianism. Liberal... Key word in that is "liberal". conservative = "conserve". Conserve what? morals, religiosity and family values.

oh, oh, oh... can I try? CLASS DISMISSED.

  • @Cheshirecat55

Here's a good example of a Mystical Welfare state.

    Read the Community Reinvestment Act.

Universal Health care - If it wasn't for the TEA PARTY people, I'd have some government asshole telling me what to do with my health insurance. I bought policies for my employees and it took me 10 minutes to get it.. TOP NOTCH. 200 bucks per person per month. Blue shield.

I had 9 competing offers as low as 80 bucks per person per month.

THANK GOD FOR THE TEA PARTY!!

  • @FreeTheNation Not everyone is a rich white upper middle class kid like you. 18% of the US doesn't have healthcare. I live in Ireland, a country with healtcare. I have a healthcare plan. it's a good plan. I don't pay for it. I can also afford an apartment, food and my entertainment on a check of a hardware store employee. So are my taxes REALLY that burdensome? You're a greedy asshole objectivist who would rather let people die then give up a goddanm quarter of a penny of your check.

  • @Cheshirecat55

    LOL....

    CLASS....

This is the ENVY I was speaking of.

    RICH, WHITE UPPER MIDDLE CLASS.

    Are you all learning now??
