  • Florence Mills was a black entertainer who recorded two songs for Victor (RCA) on December 12th 1924.These were un-numbered 78rpm test, and copies are known to be in the hands of Jazz collectors. The songs are "Dixie Dreams" and "I'm A Little Blackbird Looking For A Bluebird" from the show ("Dixie To Broadway"

  • Hi! I am teaching a History of Broadway Dance course which includes Florence Mills. It was my understanding that, sadly, there is no footage of Mills. Where was this film taken? I would so love to include it in my course if I could get some verification.
