After Roe however, the Dems adopted a pro-Roe position, so in order to avoid having an identical position to the Dems, some GOP Elites inserted anti-choice language into the GOP Platform. That however, has not prevented many pro-choice candidates from running for President and Governor.
Many Democrats are also anti-choice, particularly in the South and Pennsylvania.
