I actually loved the show. Of course the movie will always be THE movie and THE 10 things i hate about you.But the show is actually good. And you can see more of Patrick Verona's charm. ok it's not Heath Legder (he will always be the original Patrick Verona and anybody can take that from him and neither be better than him at it)but it doesn't stop being the 'bad boy' with a super and incredibly charm and sweet side who makes us even want more a guy like him in our lives. But maybe it's just me..

u know the song they used in this trailer "i want you to want meee...i need you to need me"..dunno the name but yeh, yeah this song was performed at the end of the original movie, once patrick kissed kat, and the camera zoomed to like the top of the school haha

and yeahhhh, the dad is the same dad as well! so cool

Personally, I was never a big fan of the original movie. The acting was better but that's just about it.

Overall, this was actually a pretty good show. Not the best but not too bad. It's certainly better than that Secret Life BS.

This shouldn't have been associated with the movie since they don't follow the same story.

It's a TV show. Chill out. It's based off the same characters (from taming of the shrew not the original movie) and the same idea but it's a completely interpretation. It's NOT a copy. Its something else entirely so stop judging it as one because they aren't comparable in the same category.

The movie is pure awesomeness and the show is good...in its own way. Seriously people, how can you really beat the amazing preformance in the movie? You can't. I like to view the show as something entirely different and not campare too much. I was so angry and sad when the show got cancelled, leaving everyone with that intense cliffhanger.

I thought I would hate it too, because let's face it, for most heath ledger female fans, the movie was the first time we fell in love with him. But I have to say, the series isn't so bad. It gets better with each episode. And Ethan Peck who plays Patrick is really sexy but most importantly, like Heath, he has a nice deep sexy voice. And Lindsey plays the Kat character really well.

I gotta say i was really pissed at first but when i actually gave the show a chance I loved it. it's nothing like the movie which is why it's good. It's just based on the same storyline. I didn't get the feeling anyone was trying to be like the original actors. They made it their own. And Ethan Peck is really good as Patrick Verona. I love him and Lindsey together.
