Sadly, your note on glacial recession reminds me just how wasteful jet flight is. But I take heart in knowing how to both sail, and ride a motorcycle. Sounds like more time, but far more enjoyable, and the costs are offset to the degree that you could afford more time. I've flown trans-atlantic via 747, I actually flew a lot in my teens back in the 80's. But now I'm more exited about travel even than before. I look forward to travelling IN, not OVER, what it is I'm seeking in the first place. -S
