How sad. I went to a funeral once. I didn't even know the person but I still cried because I had just lost my grandmother not too long before. It's insane how they seem like they're asleep but they're not. Well, in a way they are, but the thing is they won't wake up when you want them to. :((

Look as having worked in the funeral industry,it is not disrespectful. If that is what the person to chooses to do then so be it. i took pictures of my dad's funeral and urn.

If you go back over 100 years,there are pictures of the deceased in poses and eyes open and made them look like they were at peace and original. Everyone has their own opinon..Everyone looks different when they pass on.
