  • done, with two goals in mind! Hand one kid his ass in the 1/4 mile and get kicked outa gate way for no cage! But I'ma try to kill both birds w/ one stone! If you still got the truck, you should meet up w/ me, mines still CPI, for now w/ the Wynjammer setup, and I'm put'n down close to 300rwhp as it sits....But when it's done, it'll be a tard build, to much power, not enough traction, aka dyno queen....

  • my truck is a ZR2 8.5" ring gear rear end w/ disk. I'm about to go pick up a new break booster and master cylinder to properly run the front/rear disk as it should (the 98 Blazer 4x4 is the combo u want to fix this issue!). The trans needs to be modified and built, the drive shaft is my stock aluminum one cut down 2" because the 8.5" yolk is longer. And the rear end is going to have to be cut about 2 1/2" on each side & new axles ordered from DTS for 300 plus shipping. In the spring it'll all be

  • so the outcome of the build on .030 over should be quite rancid! The machine work and build is being done at G & M Automotive out off of Telograph Road, about 16 miles from where your truck was dino'd. I think he still has your map from your tune, and is going to use that for my base tune. Not sure how it's gonna end up, but Mike Jr at G & M said it should take plenty of abuse, and drop around 500rwtq, just a matter of boost, the fuel supply is there and the build to handle it. The Rear end on

  • This is tarded, I gotta finish the post here....any way, w/ Al Martins supercharger, can't push more than 8lbs of boost w/out destroying the Ceramic Ball Bearings, it won't take it! So I'm going Turbo, the bottom end w/ have a 114 Grind CompCam, and Keith Black Hypertectic 7.8:1 compression pistions. Ballanced assymboly and all put to gether, the heads will have a pocket job done, nothing fancy, stock valves. ARP bolts all the way around, and the 98 bock I picked up has a HIGH nickle content

  • I run right around a 14 flat with my naturally aspirated 4.3 (2003 sonoma). It has a cam and tuned exhaust with shorter gears. I agree with the supercharger, but I can't help but mention the fact that the stock cam in that motor practically strangles that supercharger. I probably get more air in and out of my n/a motor that yours supercharged. You NEED an aftermarket cam if you want the engine to compliment the super charger. We're talking about adding probably another 100 at the crank..

  • To whomever did the above setup, I currently live near the area within 20 miles from the shop this was done in. As well I plan on doing the same with my 94 Chevy S10. I'm having it converted over to OBDII and am building the engine. I've almost got the fuel system setup and prepped to go, still waiting on the block in the machine shop. A few questions, if the owner of the video'd vehicle can answer them. Did you have to modify anything to get the intake to bolt to the heads? Secondly

  • @Original6910

If you want to install a marine intake manifold it will fit with any problem on the cylinder heads, but what i did was the following I modified the stock aluminum intake manifold to use the upper section of the marine intake and the marine fuel rail system any competitive machine shop will do that modification to your stock intake manifold and the best of that is that you don't have to add all the weight from the steel marine intake.

  • @gemelitopr Unfortunatly, I'm a bit of a tard. Still going to use the anchor of a boat intake, lol. But I will need it! I BEARLY squeezed some NIM403 injectors on it, going to run them for 51lbs hr possible w/ a ZR1 duel in take Walbro 255LPH setup (maybe, or a modified 93-98 Turbo Supra Fuel Pump, single setup). I put a LS1 throttle body on top of the intake, not sure what you used. And I'm using the Al Martin Wynjammer supercharger right now, going to Holset H1C Turbo in Spring....

  • i'm from imperial, Do you know where I can go to get good custom leather seats for my grand am gt coupe 03?

  • i have a 2003 s10 xtreme and i want to supercharge is it worth it or will i be having to many problems

  • how good is the Wynjammer GM 4.3 Kit With Alum Pressure

Bonnet & 36 lb Fuel System?

  • I get up to 13 lbs of boost it is a K&N filter 4” outlet. It definitely has not been a problem.

  • Hi I have a marine intake manifold with 39 pounds injectors and a vortech supercharger on my 1999 s10 xtreme, I have plans to modified the stock obd2 program using and hp tunner , but need to know what type of map sensor you have installed or recomended for my aplication. thanks Att Juan

  • Respond to this video... The video is very good and the photos that you present are really nice for some one that whant to modified their 4.3 engine to mercury marine intake manifold.

  • air filter is a bit small dont you think

    your pushing some good cf/m

  • Do you have any more pictures of your truck? I have an 03 victory red xtreme as well and am in the process of painting my tonneau cover victory red to match and cant decide if I want to do stripes or not. Would be very appreciated, send me a message or something.

  • well i have a 2003 xtreme and in 2003 they changed the engine to the lu3 that changed injection set up to a multi point set up. but gm did offer a muti point upgrade for the l35 engine. it was a fix to the poppet valves cloging on the single cpi engines. i also found a place were he says he has the mulit point set up with larger 35 lbs injectors installed. it might be the factory gm peice i never called an asked the specs on the factory upgrade because my truck came from the factory with it.

  • how much does it cost to get your truck dyno'd like that?

  • yea 190 hp is kinda weak for a v6

    but think about this

it is an old design, with 2 valves per cylinder

    most now days have 4

and also it makes 250 lb/ft of torque at only 2800 rpm, how many v6's can do that

hp sells cars, torque wins races i guess

    nice truck man

  • For any STOCK motor, 250 ft/lb of torque at only 2800 RPM's is incredible. Add in the S10' fairly light weight and a supercharger, this truck will keep you pushed back in your seat all the way through the gears.

  • and its the setup for a 2002 s10 but ive got it on a 98 silverado instead of a s10 and i really need a belt and pulley

  • where did you get the bearing and belt from for the superchager ive got the same supercharger and i need a new bearing and belt

  • 190 from the factory

  • what hp does a supercharged 4.3 put out?

  • Stock is roughly 190hp if its the 4.3L L35 engine.

Supercharger might put 50-100 hp depending on if its dyno'd, the brand of supercharger, etc.

  • 190hp from 4.3 is really bad. even for american

  • yea, but 250 lb/ft of tourqe? kinda makes up for it.

  • With a bone stock motor, the 4.3 supercharged will lay down anywhere from 215-230 hp to the rear wheels. Add larger injectors and some mild motor mods, you can put easily over 300 hp to the ground.

  • Wish I had your knowledge to do the same to my xtrreme. great work congrats. on it all.

  • Nice build! way to think outta the box with the marine intake!

Im tigging in injector bung to an edlebrock aluminum intake, and making my own fuel rails.

  • whats the top speed now?

  • I am looking to to this intake swap as well on my 97 s10 4.3 is there anyway i could get in contact with you about some instruction on making a wiring harness for the intake or how much it would cost me to get you to make me one. LMK thanks

  • just buy wynjammers new 36lb injectors that uses the stock spi vortec manifold

  • fucking beast

  • Please add more videos of your s10, it looks really sweet

  • do you have an e-mail address i can contact you through?

i found out the hard way how unprepared i was for a supercharger and blew up my motor. im putting a new one in right now, its almost done. i have an adjustable FMU for now but i would like to upgrade to a real MPFI system one day. i have tossed around the idea of converting the edelbrock 2114 intake manifold or doing a stealth ram setup. i have heard of the marine intake swap but have never seen it done.

  • I first tried a FMU with the 25 lb injectors that came with the marine intake, but even they couldnt flow enough fuel at just 6 psi of boost. After some experimenting I found the 33 lb injectors and a bigger fuel pump was the only way to run the boost up, without melting down the pistons. With companies selling supercharger kits that dont address the lack of fuel at boost, I am surprised you dont hear more about people burning up their motors.

    Thanks,

    Paul

  • I guess similar to the Wynjammers setup, I am running up to 13psi of boost at 5200 rpm, you will find the stock fuel injection just cant flow enough fuel even at just 6psi boost. The only clean way to get enough fuel is to go with the marine intake. I would be willing to make another harness, do you have an automatic, if so do you will need to machine a manifold block for the trans sensor, also machining on the manifold for the water pump bypass, I could also do this for you.

    Thanks,

    Paul

  • this is setup exactly like wynjammers, which is where the TB hat came from.

why did you go through all the trouble of making the marine intake work and only run 4lbs of boost?

good clean setup btw, let my know if you want to make another harness.

  • I think you should try electric fans and a under drive pulley setup first. This was one of the things that I did were I could really feel a difference. I picked both up cheap on eBay

    Thanks,

    Paul

  • @BUGGYINNOVATIONS why would you want a underdrive pulley on with a belt driven supercharger?? bunderdrive pulleys slow down anything that the belts spins, so you wont be making as much boost with and underdrive rather than your stock, maybe same size just lighter would be better...

  • hi there, i drive a 2003 xtreme 4.3 also. mines a yellow regular cab with the "heat" graphics.

i'm short on cash right now... are their any mods i can do to make some more power while spending little to no money? also, what's your opinion on straight piping? 2.5" pipe all the way back from the cat is what i was thinking about doing.

    thanks in advance!

  • i wudnt straight pipe, cops catch u with it, ur in trouble, get flo masters

  • yeah either go with flow masters or glasspacks not straight piped. Check out my video on straight piped s10s. It seems way too loud.

  • It's not loud at all, check mine, out.. Old muffler, straight and new glasspack cherry bomb..

  • hey dude what kind of horsepower u make???

  • About 285 at the crank.

    Thanks,

  • @BUGGYINNOVATIONS how much torque? Has to be around 310-320

  • hi, please could you help me??? im trying to supercharge my chevy s10 1992 v6 4.3L but i cant find a supercharger that fits in the engine and others are too expensive, please if you could help me ill appreciatte

  • I would be glad to help if you had a 96 or newer S10, but I am not sure about an older S10. Your truck has the alternator and air conditioner on opposite sides form the newer trucks and the mercury intake wont bolt up to 95 or older 4.3 heads.

    Thanks

    Paul
