I can't wait to get out on the river and other water ways are all those huge rock formations below the Holtwood dam? Where is the easiest public launches to find south of Falmouth?
since its below the dam you will need to get in below the dam ... PPL pumping station on the Lancaster side off river rd ... PPL park at Lock 13 on the York side ... or if you have a Fish Commission tag then the boat launch next to Lock 13 ...
Looks like you had a BLAST! Nothing compares to the beauty of the Mighty Susquehanna and all it pleasures. We grew up in Conowingo, MD and I wouldn't trade those times for anything in the world. Perry Point, Port Deposit, Rock Creek, Garrett Island, Octoraro Creek, Conowingo Dam, Old Conowingo, The Wharf, Fishin Creek, Broad Creek, The Cliffs, River Road, Peach Bottom, Safe Harbor, Conestoga Creek... Just some of the places on the river that we enjoyed over the years. Thanks for posting.
