and before you say "change the skylines suspension" that doesn't work that easily, you have to spend countless months tuning an aftermarket suspension to get it to optimum for a drag, then you spend more months setting the suspension up for a race track, where as the 360 does all types of driving (except rally lol) without having to fuiddle around with camber, rebound, height ect...
I have an R33gtr and a 360 Spider. WTF stock for stock 360 smokes the GTR by a mile.

The GTR may be faster in some situations (especially the highly modded ones), but I'd still own a Ferrari any day over a Nissan, regardless if the Ferrari was a 360, an old 355, or the new 458 Italia, and you put in either the GTR R34 or the new GTR... Well not always, if the skyline is modded correctly, which is what it was made for then it will beat the ferrari like what we saw above. However will still keep up with the ferrari if it wasnt modded because its an awesome car. Ferrari's wern't made to be modded so no one can complain when a Japanese import car does that to a ferrari. I found that when I change the oil in my 92 Toyota Corolla wagon that if i make sure there is 3/4" deflection on that there belt than i get about 12% gains on MPG. Well not always, if the skyline is modded correctly, which is what it was made for then it will beat the ferrari like what we saw above. However will still keep up with the ferrari if it wasnt modded because its an awesome car. Ferrari's wern't made to be modded so no one can complain when a Japanese import car does that to a ferrari. Dont get me wrong ferrari's are amazing, but I prefer the imports.

I found that when I change the oil in my 92 Toyota Corolla wagon that if i make sure there is 3/4" deflection on that there belt than i get about 12% gains on MPG. I usually add about four teaspoons of 80/90 to my engine oil and my emissions will decrease and i've noticed that if i wear a light hoodie that my car's weight can compare to that of Nascar. 12sec 1/4 is fast for the regular world but to be fast in the gtr world your looking at 8second 1/4.
Besides for the price of that ferrari you could have a r34 that is faster 0-60 0-100 and higher top speed.

Gearing is just as important as either displacement or FI in terms of straight line speed.
All I'm saying is that saying 6 cylinders are better because one turbo'd 6cyl beats a random V8 is stupid, which I'm sure you'd agree with, because there are so many other factors besides cylinder count.

I am being realistic here. you however are not. i know far more about the import tuning scene than you or top gear for that matter. i know people with quick imports, seen many import events, dvds, read tons of performance car magazines etc to back up everything. and i quoted Mick Stanic from Sub-zero Performance whose worked on some of the fastest GT-R's in Aussie. Upgrade 1)Exhaust 2)Intercooler 3)Twin-plate clutch 4)Add toluene to fuel 5)work on timing. He guarantees 11's. HE WOULD KNOW.

And i hav countless magazines and accounts that back up the capabilities of GT-R's. ive seen r32 gtr's run low 13s standard. not high 14s like sum v8 yank tank. even my mate thrashed his STOCK 1996 sti wrx to do a 12.8s 1/4 mile. and ive already proved they can do (high)11's with 5 mods, even with standard turbos running 15psi. need i remind u of the NEW 2008 GT-R aka porsche-EATER. that car defies physics and sasses porsche 911s (which weigh alot less). did i mention its also half the price?!

As for nurburging...thats Nissan territory. The new base model R35 GT-R clocked it at 7:38 (2s+ faster than bugatti veyron, ferrari 599, lambo LP640, corvette zr1) and the new V-Spec GT-R (150kg lighter, carbon ceramic brakes, better wheels, aero etc) lapped it in 7:25. Thats 3s faster than Porsche Carrera GT!! lmao
