I LOVE this song! My dad is a huge Bruce Cockburn fan, and I remember growing up listening to his music!

This entire album truly is fantastic. I love how he manages to capture the true spirit of some of the subjects of his song with his guitar... deep lake is another of my favourites, and sunrise on the mississippi... when you listen to those songs, you really get those exact pictures in your head.

Does anyone know how to get something that resembles that guitar sound? I have a classical guitar with a microphone and audio interface, so I have access to tons of amp + pedal models and stuff. Any suggestions?

.... This song is not seven minutes long? I notice that the sound cuts out about four minutes in, and then a long pause... The begginning is fine, but I honestly can't use this song in a playlist for that reason. Darn... :(

I don't do that. Besides, if I did, you might miss the opportunity to do yourself a favor - every album Bruce has produced is a treasure. If you like what you hear, support him. Go buy one, or all of them. I have most of his work, and not one single time have I been disappointed when purchasing his art. You won't be, either.
