Nothing wrong with that, especially considering that love, no matter what species it affects, can be primal, even with 'normal' humans.

the fact that some choose to do it in a costume of the species they admire/respect/share a connection with is beside the point and to continually argue about only serves to create a negative aspect about an otherwise eccentric and happygolucky group of people who's only real desire is to enjoy themselves and socialize with others that share their interests.
