i agree with edenstrauss2008, does chemicals in mascara have any bad side effects for hair? Overloading your hair with chemicals can NOT be good for it ... as with overloading your skin, eye lashes etc.

That's the 1st time I've ever heard such a fascinating beauty secret :D But I was jux wondering if there'll be any unknown side-effects when applied on the hair instead of where it's supposed to go to, especially when there's more or less abit contact with the scalp since hair is attached to our heads...

If you think about it, eye lashes are pretty much hair that's attached to your eyes, and since your eyes are generally more sensitive than your scalp I wouldn't think it would do any damage :)

This is a great idea! I always have to run my hands under water and dampen my hair to get rid of fly-aways, but its a VERY temporary fix. I need to get some of that Maybelline mascara and try this! :D
