I bought one of these for fun, and it is definitely not an i-phone, but it looks like one, makes calls (as long as you're near the tower) gets on the internet (with wifi), has camera, vid camera, movie player, some java apps, etc. I think it's great for a kid, or someone who really doesn't need an i-phone, but wants to look like they have one. It's definitely better than the little phone I had, and it's different, so it looks cool.

#1 complaint, slow and lagging touchscreen: well for me, anyways, it works pretty fine, just need to know how exactly to touch it right. i suppose the majority of people have fat fingers and are clumsy with their hands. it works alright for me. good enough to use .

#2- bad camera quality-- this i agree with, but usually i don't download pictures off to print from my phone, and its good enough quality to just stay in the phone.

I've owned one of those piece of shit rip offs... Batteries go flat less that 24 hours on standby. Slow operating system with horrible lag. Distorted cheap plastic covered touch screen. Frustrating SMS system (you'll need a stylus). Crap build quality. Only VGA camera fitted. Difficult to set up GPRS or WAP for web browsing. No factory support from manufacturer. I bought a 32GB iPhone 3Gs and love it... These cheap ripoffs are like a pig with lipstick... they're still a pig!

I had a iPhone clone and I thought it would be so cool and nice, turned out to have a horrible touch screen, no apps, play music horribly and videos are almost impossible to get on saying it uses a mystery format.
