I think they're putting clone wars troopers on the boxes, even if there were no clone wars troopers in the movie the vehicle/figure is from, because the current new generation of fans have grown up with the clone troopers, as that's how my oldest son mainly recognizes star wars.

@alluvialedaempfer i know how you feel.i picked up an empire strikes back battle pack [hoth invasion] .in it there is vader,2 snow troopers,1 snow biker scout trooper,e-web cannon and a snow speeder bike......and hasbro have clearly marked the box as THE CLONE WARS, not EMPIRE STRIKES BACK.dont know if its a genuine mistake on hasbros part but either way they need to get the finger out and start putting the correct images and titles on the packing

The Clone Troopers on the top right of the box are seen on LEGO Star Wars Kits. Except for a 10th Anneversary Tie Fighter which has the Origonal Logo, and the Newer Models which feature Clone Captain Rex.

Great review! Looks great. But it's just ridiculously expensive here -.- I think they tinted the "glass" red because if you look closely in the movie(s) there's red lighting in the cockpits.. I think they tried to resemble that.

The red window has nothing to do with the films. Actually the models used for filming didnt have any glass at all, as it would reflect light.

They have suits with life support so they could stay alive for some time so they could be resqued , but also because putting the figure in properly with al the new doohickees is far easier with a removable seat!

You should get a light for you camera or even just use a flashlight when showing the cockpit of your different pieces. So we can see the details 100% for those interested. Just a suggestion but keep up the great videos.

See the History of Hasbro/Kenner Tie-Fighters as with some other items they bring out since 2007 compared to what they brought out before. Is Hasbro not blowing itself up. Each years they brought out a Tie-Fighter some beter or even better designs. For a collector it is a hard time to keep up or have a good reason to buy this one or ... just wait a while till they come with another or is this what I thought was the 30th ann. Tie-Fighter and interceptor ... the Ultimate version (like the ATST)

SithLord229, The 30th Ann SW Complete Cross Sections book features a bonus Tie-Bomber. I think for the reason that the Tie-Bomber does have a life-support system (very rare on Tie-Fighters) the illustrators have the Tie-pilot drawn with an open visor, helmet. I think that is an idea about the open helmet.

I like the details of this Tie Fighter far more than the Power of the Force Tie Fighter by far. The wings are so much more accurate. I'm not crazy about the head sculpt but it's nice that the helmet comes off anyway. 5/5 stars for the video but 4/5 for the Tie Fighter. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.

Yaaay, the review came early!! Cheers! These are now available in New Zealand too, also with the new TIE Interceptor with the new cockpit, ejector seat, and tinted windows. $129.00 in NZ coins, mental! The old TIE fighter is $60, so it's frickin' daylight robbery! Same high price for the new Interceptor as well, I think. The pilot is a bit different though. It has some silver linings below both eye visors, it made it look like the TIE pilot is crying, haha.
