  • girl i want to THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!i ve tried this, and i couldnt believe in my eyes!my hair become amazing!!thanks again!!everyone must try this!!!

  • can you please tell me what the name of the brush you are using? also what chaz dean's brush is? where can i buy it? also can i buy something similar at sally's?

  • The brush always gets stuck and I can never seem to hold the section of hair far enough away from what's already dry =S This looks ALOT easier and more effective then every other video I've seen =) Your hair is so gorgeous! Mine always gets extremely frizzy and huge, even with smoothing serum, rinsing and blow drying on cold to finish and leave in conditioner =S Any tips?

  • Damm i love ur hair imma try this and what is the name of the color of ur hair dye i love it

  • Hi Miss Anna Lee, Girl you "Rock" the blow dryer, love your hair. I was one of your models for the live show @ QVC about 2yrs. ago you did a fabulous job on my hair. I now have a hair cut kinda like Lisa Rinna`s maybe a little longer. I would love to see you to a video blow-out. as always signed with <3, Jo

  • good done, it is so difficult to brush it self especially for long hair.

  • good done, it is so difficult to brush it self especially for long hair.

  • are you a hairdresser?? if not you should you have a great technique!!

  • Anna Lee you're so amazing to watch XD so fun and what gorgeous hairrrr hehe, I can't wait to watch more videos! Sincerely, your new subbie:DD

  • This is EXACTLY what I have been trying to accomplish with a round brush blowout. The 'twirl'!!!! That's the secret. Now I just have to perfect my technique since I'm still new at it. I have trouble keeping my section of hair all on the brush. I feel uncoordinated.

  • your hair is absolutely amazingly gorgeous! great video!

  • i love love love your hair! It is fantasmic. Can I ask what exactly your cut is? By that I mean, how would one go about asking for your hair.

Sorry if that sounds creepy... :D

    Thanks!

  • i have curly hair naturally, will this work for me?? :/ x

  • <3333333! but what does overdirecting mean? lol

  • Hi Anna Lee, I recently started to use WEN CC and saw this video and it really helped me. I had more volume in my hair (and I did it totally wrong lol) than I ever had before. Thanks for sharing. I am going to keep trying and hopefully it will come out great eventually. Quick question, what paste thingy at the end did you use? Thanks!

  • You are so gorgeous!! I was wondering if you could list out all the products you used?

  • What are the products you use??

  • So amazing! Can you do a video just explaining step-by-step, "the twirl"? I keep watching and watching and I just can't figure out how you do it.

  • How should i ask to my hair dresser for a cut like yours, i have the same length!!

Love this video! i watch it almost everytime I go out!

    xoxo from Mexico!!

  • Hey.. Would you rather recommend the Velecta Paramount Hair Dryer or the Super Solano 3700 Moda Dryer? Please reply! (:

  • I couldn't hear the name of the brush ? can you tell me what it was? thanks I need a good brush.

  • If u have long hair like yours, does the brush get stuck when rolling inwards and then pulling out? I find often it tangles so bad :-s

Alsooo its such a beautifulll cut! If i wanted that do i just say long layers?

  • If u have long hair like yours, does the brush get stuck when rolling inwards and then pulling out? I find often it tangles so bad :-s

  • @07naina i always brush the section of the hair first. i try to stay as neat and clean when it comes out to sectioning and brushing. also take your time when you are doing the twirl. try to do the twirl only once with the brush then when you get more comfortable twirling the brush and hair, then go crazy with the twirls :)

  • Pretty hair !! Will this technique work for african american (kinky) hair? Or will I have to roller set my hair first?

  • @Sweetlady1916 this technique will work. but please make sure you stretch your curl out while blowing. a good even tension with hair and brush is key :) and start from wet :)

  • I absolutly loveeee your hair!!!! is gorgeous!!!

how long do you take to do all of this?????

  • @DuniaRomero funny that you asked. my husband actually timed me last week, haha. it took 13 minutes that day. but i usually feel it takes me about 20-25 minutes.

  • PLEASE REPLY (ANYONE): Will a ceramic round brush work for this? And my hair is naturally strait will that work? Cause I saw some curl in hers THANKS!

  • @coolgirl9583 hi... i have no curl in my hair. stick straight asian hair here :) i recommend the brush that i am using. It is a medium size boar bristle with nylon round brush.

  • @annaleeandjesse Would medium be considered 3 or 3.5 inch brush? Thanks!

  • @coolgirl9583 yepp :)

  • This is a beautiful hairstyle! I think my arms would get tired after a couple of min. though :)

  • annaleee please help! i followed your routine 3 or 4 times and no matter what i do, my hair falls flat in 30 minutes. how can i help it to stay volumized??

  • @yulkaluna hi please watch my other youtube video where i pin up each section. i believe it's titled "Big Victoria's Secret Hair - Round Brush Blow Dry with Pin Curls " this should help you maintain the volume. also please make sure you are over-directing when blowing hair and also over directing when releasing the twirl :)

  • amazing! after watching Chaz' video, I tried this several times and I am so not good at it. After watching you do it, I'm gonna give it another go. What was the name of the blow dryer you used? I reviewed a lot, got overwhelmed and bought a cheap one just to use til I decide on a good one.

  • @cienicsk8 you'll get it. it takes time and practice :) and once you get the hang of it, it's super easy!! the blow dryer i'm using here is a velecta paramount tgr4000i by sedu

  • holy...!!! you did all that just with a blow dryer and round brush!?

  • @langolava yup. you can see in the video :)

  • Your hair is so pretty! How long does it take you to do it from start to finish? And what heat setting do you have the dryer on? Thanks, and I love your tutorials!

  • @jerseygirl07067 thank you! it usually takes about 15-20 minutes for an everyday look like this :) heat is on high setting

  • You're so ADORABLE!

From shoulder length till now, how long did it take you to grow your hair?

  • @Arallist A little over a year with a couple haircuts in there! :) Oh and thank you!!!!

  • this video was really supper helpful! how long on average does your blowout last and maintain its volume. I have medium thickness and length hair, its not super long and gorgeous like yours! however I find my roots get kinda greasy and flat after a day (i.e if I blow out in the morning, by 7 that night its flat). Please give me some advice I would really greatly appreciate that. Just in case you need to know, I don't use wen, I want to, but I use it's a 10

  • @emrad18 whenever i blow my hair out, i can usually rock it for at least 3-4 maybe even 5 days. sometimes the front of my hair gets a little oily on the 2nd day and that's when I usually will just cleanse the front (where my fringe is at) with WEN and re-blow it :)

  • couple questions: how would u restyle/refresh between cleansing? also, since using wen by ends are way less damaged than before. since im trying to grow my hair long again, how long would you recommend i go between cuts? love your vidoes...keep them coming!

  • @megRN917 i love long hair. I usually tell my clients to that are growing it out to come back for a cut between 8-12 weeks. OR they can come and see me for a LIGHT dusting on the ends 6-8 weeks. as for restyling/refresh hair. I spray WEN replenishing treatment miss per section to re-blow and smooth certain areas that need it.

  • @annaleeandjesse Yay....you know what dusting is!! You Rock!

  • @cutestuff2 thank you :)

  • omg this is beyond gorgeous! can you please tell me the names of the products you used?? i'm def gonna buy them online!

  • @yulkaluna thank you! i used wen cleanser and wen styling creme :) more info go to chazdean.com

  • HI ANNALEE

I THINK YOU'RE SO CUTE!!I WANTED TO ASK THIS QUESTION REGARDING AFRO AM HAIR. MY MOM AND I USE WEN AND LOVE IT.I HAVE FINE HAIR AND HER HAIR IS THICK.CAN THIS METHOD WORK ON THE BOTH OF US AND IF SO CAN WE BOTH USE MED SIZE ROUDBRUSH?DOES YOUR HAIR HAVE TO BE SOAKING WET.THANKS

  • @SWEETA80 hi and thank you! and yes you can do this method of blowdrying on your hair. and yes, start from wet hair :) remember to have good tension on the brush and hair and stretch out the hair with your brush. you also might want to add a little more wen cleanser as a leave in and a little bit more of the wen styling creme though :) as for brushes, yes you can use this brush :)

  • I really love WEN too!!! Great tutorial..look forward to seeing more. What brand of brush were you using?

  • @jena418 thank you. spornett medium size boar bristle with nylon round brush

  • @wendywoodsesty its sedu (velecta paramount) tgr4000i.

  • This video is amazing!

I've been trying to style my hair differently because my natural hair is wavy but flat,

and this Tutorial was so helpful.

i tried this out and it's beautiful!

Thank you so so much Anna Lee!

    i love you!

  • @yvettemitchell123 yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!! we plan on making more.. keep your eye out :)

  • @sbbg1974 thank you!

  • please check out my new video, im just starting off:) thank you soo much

  • amazing!

  • @indianangel165 thank you!

  • Beautiful Hair! I have curly hair and would love to create this look without the harmful flat iron and curling irons. How would i go about doing this? Same technique?

    Thank you.;-)

  • @ralegria16 same technique. but instead of taking 75% of the moisture, take out between 20-45% of the moisture (depending on the type of curl you have). If you really have tight curls, the less moisture you take out. And when taking the moisture out, you'll want to focus just on the root and stretching out the curl.

Also when brushing, you must keep tension on the brush with your hair. Keeping in mind that you are stretching out the curl when your blowdrying.

    good luck!

  • @annaleeandjesse what type of brush would you use for this hair type(curly)? Would the one you used suffice or a curly head use something else? Do you have any recommendations?
