  • And Now We Know Who Gets All Da Bitches ;)

  • Hey, I can take a box of dominoes, seal them up & bury them where they will remain undisturbed for millions of years or in perpetuity. They won't have to move or do anything ever except forever be be what they are... dominoes. And I can call them "prepetual dominoes." Nuttin' wrong wit dat eh ?

  • sure beats stackin them by hand.

  • I wonder what the girlfriend was thinking when she had the first glimpse of him and his machine....

  • That is just fucking stupid. I admire the desire to build something, but come on- really???

  • I'm guessing it's main power source is a V8?

  • tht noise put me off ma game of cod

  • you should have made it louder.

  • CUTE !

Now we can power the World!!!!!!!

  • Its not perpetual its Electric powered Perpetual means continueous under its own generated motion

  • @TheBambislayer actually it doesn't. it means continuing forever. what you're thinking of is perpetual motion.

  • it requires energy, but I have to admit that's the coolest youtube video on dimonoes with perpetual motion machines in this second. Awesome Job, cool machine!

  • YOU CAN HARDLY TELL ITS ON !!!

  • What would the world need that for ?

  • Cute! Not pretending to make energy out of thin air either. Very refreshing.

  • Minutes of my life gone forever in pure loss. That doesn't happen often, and was worth mentioning.

  • god- how long did it take you to make this machine that has the potential to pique interest for about 2 minutes or until you run screaming from the room at the hideous ratcheting sound- seriously is there nothing better to dedicate your hours to?

  • You have four batteries powering this. Perpetual motion is self-sufficient, is it not? o.o

  • someone has a lot of time on his/her hands..

  • This machine the equivalent of my ceiling fan. Is that perpetual motion? Everyone should know that in common english a perpetual motion machine is one that would run forever on its own kinetic energy, hence the concept that a perpetual motion machine is impossible. Trying to explain it as otherwise using some obscure definition or semantics is laughable. This video is the equivalent of stepping on the gas in your car to make the wheels spin.

  • it's so cheating.

  • i would like to see it go faster..

  • dude, if you lived next door to me and had that noisy-as-fuck machine working perpetually...well...i'd probably knock on your door and politely ask you to turn it off.

    then i'd key your car...

  • Professor Irvin Correy....WHERE ARE YOU?

  • thats boring, what will me my sons do if we cant set them back up after we topple them all? dumb invention! re-invent the the cheeseburger instead of this dumb shit!

  • Maybe not perpetual really, but it's still pretty damn awesome.

  • How ingenious, the only thing left to do is to figure out an eternal source of energy, maybe solar, until the sun dries out of juice.

  • That thing is just too damn noisy, had to turn my my shitty little internal sound system down. Some people just have too much time on their hands.

  • @ShadyMan01- I Concur!

  • Why does it sound so horrible?

  • sounds like shit. GET A NEW HOBBY

  • PERPETUAL DOMINOES! not perpetual machine

  • People he said a perpetual DOMINO machine, not a perpetual self runnign free energy machine!!! read carefully. he never said the machine powered itself or it created energy, its for amusement purposes only.

  • by definition, a Perpetual machine will never stop. that means it will have to maintain its own power. if its getting external power its not perpetual.

    fail.

  • Perpetual:

    1) continuing forever

    2)ocurring continually: indifinetly long continued

    3) blooming all year all seasons

No where there it says it has to maintain its own power, it just says it has to happen continuosly forever, and the dominoes fall and get back up as the machine runs, it doesnt need to be reset or re-started, they get up and fall on their own. Dominos "fall and stand up" continiusly, without reseting.

  • the power source is getting power from somewhere else, that makes it non prepetual. it is not supplying its own power.

and a fusion reactor will run out after a really long time.

  • "literally, refers to movement that goes on forever"

  • it cant go on forever if the power source will eventually run out.

  • no one said this machine produces perpetual power. it's simply a perpetual dominos machine.

  • lol

  • Ad infinitum is wrong, once the batery runs out it stops.

A perpetuum mobile is a machine that generates its own energy to stay fonctional ad infinitum.

  • too much spare time on your hands me thinks.......

  • So... where is the perpetual motion machine?

  • if it went faster you could have it putting the dominoes back up at the exact speed they fall over. That would be AMAZING

  • man its damn noisy , you can't get free energy from somthing that is noisy (just saying)

but that is the most creative thing i have seen

  • Bleh...not a very good design. You need to speed up the arm so that it can match the speed of the falling dominoes, so that you'll have a constant flow. This is too stop-and-start. :-/

  • Nice video, but it's kind of hard to hear what the machine sounds like. Can you turn up the volume? Maybe add some kind of chunky overdrive distortion so it sounds like robots attacking?

  • omg i crapped my self

    lol

  • tis not perpetual

  • thats not perpetual motion but it is still really cool

  • Ti hanno dato il premio Nobel? ha ha ha

  • very nice

  • hahaha - i had my volume on full from a previous video and this scared the hell out of me :)

  • me too

  • same here. iwas like "whoa! WTF!"

  • hell same happend to me ....

  • lol me too, I was ahhhhh shit!!!

  • if you could get a device which could convert noise energy into heat and electrical energy, this thing could power at least half of china alone!

  • this thing is too quiet

  • @sk8cre8 Pardon???

  • Long domino chain is looooooooooooooooooong

  • no actual use in life, but a clever invention

  • I can think of...well...I was going to try to think of the possible ways I could ever use this contraption, but absolutly nothing came to mind.

  • good work!!! he he he...

  • in reply to all the replies i have been getting because of my lower comment, the comment was directed towards the people claiming it was perpetual, i never claimed this guy said it was.

  • it needs to get a bit faster like you keep getting turn around

  • this is the height of absurdity :)

  • This thing obviously didn't cost much.

  • how much that ever might have cost, it was a waste of money.

Don't you ask yourself what that loud noise in the background might be?! :-/

  • Waste of whatever dominoes are made of

  • someting wrost!!

  • ....is the a silicone spatula?

  • perpetual motion is impossible... theres always a force acting on any machine.

  • He doesn't claim perpetual motion

  • Not perpetual motion. It's a perpetual dominoes machine. It's run by a motor on the bottom to set up the dominoes and knock them down. Kinda fun.

  • he doesnt mean free energy, he just means that the dominoes dont need to continuously be set up, therefore always going with enough battery power

  • your statement is correct, but again he is not claiming perpetual motion.

  • Pretty funny and well built but really its not perpetual because the thing that resets the dominoes needs energy.

  • until your batteries run out!

  • Would be cool if they could fall perpetually...that is, instead of setting them all up to see them all fall down, have it operate fast enough to have them set up again and continually fall, the fall would be chasing the setup. I wonder how fast that arm would have to spin...

  • Now see if you can time it right so that the dominoes are lifted up as fast as they fall down. Then you could have a never ending chain reaction of falling dominoes.

  • neat

  • Are we ready for an International Contest of PM Machines yet? I`d be pleased to contribute!

  • wow, that would get annoying lol

  • Hahahaha this is funny! :P

Although it doesn't has any use at all, it is quite clever! :P Nice. ^^

  • Actually "perpetual" means occurring continually. Period.

No where does it say, "perpetual motion". It actually only says, "Perpetual Dominoes" meaning the action of the dominoes occurs continually, hence the definition of perpetual. There is NOTHING incorrect about the title. k buddy?

  • lazysasparilla got told!!!!!!!!!!

  • Cool. It took a lot of work to get everything balanced out just right. I wish I had that much spare time. I think its cool:)

  • now when you say small motor . is it an outside source of energy or is the motor run by the dominos and viceversa. please tell me . this is soo awesome!!!

  • that would be impossible, there is always lost energy (heat)

so you need to put energy in

I don't think he claims 'perpetual motion' but just that this things loops... or keeps setting up after knocking down.

it isn't perpetual... that is like saying my car is perpetually moving, when I run out of gas it stops...

same with this... if it had a battery it would stop after the battery diet

  • Take a boring game and make it play itself! Now it's both boring and entirely pointless. Congrats; I suppose that's something. ;-)

On the technical side, though... nice work. ^^

    RP 08 FTW
