Hi! first off, your smile looks great :) I'm thinking of getting surgery for my underbite as well, and your videos have helped me through some of the trepidation i've been feeling over something as intense as surgery, (Specially on mah face haha).
If you don't mind me asking, have you had any difficulty speaking or forming your words compared to how you spoke when you had the underbite? I'm curious because I have some difficulty with certain consonants and am concerned about making it worse.
You look amazing! Im about half way through my treatment, have my braces until beginning of next year then the op.. im scared but seeing this has kept me motivated !!!!!!!!! x x

I'm about to have similar jaw surgery in 2 days, and I completely freaked out today over how soon it is. :( Out of nerves, I watched a bunch of Youtube videos of people's pre and post-op experiences, but I just mostly got even more afraid... that is, until I came across your videos. You seem so grateful, and your positivity really gives me hope. Thanks for the cheer!

Do you find your speech has changed since having the procedure? And also were you worried about having braces whilst being older than when most people would have braces? (as in, not a young teenager)
wow congratulations!! you smile is soo pretty :) i really hope to get the same thing done in the next couple years, when i can afford it. i had braces when i was younger, but i guess since the beginning of that process my face finished growing and i've gone some short face thing going on and it's kinda distorted my whole face, i'm so self-conscious about my smile and being in pictures :'( but anyways, enjoy it to the fullest!!!! looks like you are anyways hahah congrats again :)
@LaurenAlexandra711 awww well im sure you're beautiful with or without the surgery! I couldn't afford to have this surgery but God blessed me and I was able to find loop holes to get around paying for it. Options are out there. Maybe you can find a doc who will do it for little to no cost. ;-)
