MILES Y MILES DE GRACIAS A LOS QUE SUBEN ESTOS VIDEOS.... :) JIM ESTA MAS VIVO QUE NUNCA.... THE DOORS POR SIEMPRE!!!!!!!! desde ARGENTINA - TUCUMAN - S.I.de LULES
if you listen to all the versions of the end ever done, it's always out of order or some new piece of poetry thrown in, so it's a bit odd some people are saying this version sounds weird. It's the closest to the album version in the band's sound and Jim's voice that I've heard, although I think version from the boxed set is the best live take. This is a great bit of history here.
the doors rule! And Jim sounding so poetic and mysterious, there will never be another group like the doors! I wish i was at that concert specially for this great song 'the end'
hmmm theres something kind of strange about jims voice in this one, also he sung out of order, maybe he was drunk. still a great performance, a little rough but ya, cool. also very creepy picture at the end there haha
this is very strong... like how live version of all these takes on this song are different.. another great performance this same year was the live canadian tv special. was there anything live recorded before this of any of their works???
i don't know if they recorded something before live. i have the UCLA trio Tapes but on them is only Ray Manzarek playing. but i will look for something earlier :-D and if i find something i'll send you a message
Every time I hear this song it is like how religious people must feel when they experience a miracle.
