Dan Duffy just voted against SB600. He was sent there to represent us and immediately jumped on the party bandwagon. He's done, and I will do all I can to defeat him next time around.
Yes, Dan Duffy is parsing words and seizing on the Daily Herald's quote that the editorial board disagrees with Gentes' plan to raise *corporate* taxes. Sure, Mr. Gentes supports a tax raise, but Mr. Duffy conveniently leaves out the part about the raise targeting *corporate* taxes.
The Daily Herald endorsement Mr. Gentes is so proud of is for the *Democratic primary* and does not address the face-off between Mr. Gentes and Mr. Duffy.
Dan Duffy has no record to run on himself, so he's trying to mislead people as to what Democrat Bill Gentes would accomplish for the residents in Illinois Senate Disrict 26.
Duffy didn't know he was going to have to defend his claim that Gentes was going to raise taxes? Then why did he bring it up? If Duffy can't stand up to a caller on a radio program, I certainly don't think he would survive facing Gentes in a debate.
