  • What kind of store sells vacuum gauges? (The local autoparts store doesn't have them).

  • I get 15 and 20 duel avance distributor 298 2v just per the manual but need to test the vacume advance on the distributor tommorow to see if it's ok. I have the same hand held vacume guage, I like it.

  • What is the vacuum reading with a radical cam, as opposed to a stock one?

  • @seapeddler no idea, but my new cam is now giving me 15 vacuum. I have less overlap on that new blower cam.

  • are the vacum gauges easy to install?

  • @ShugaLoafbundles217 that's just a hand held vacuum gauge, takes 20 sec to install and even less to remove.

  • Valves may be too tight, or timing off.

  • timing is spot on, thanks for the comment.

  • Well, jayguy173 said it should be about

    20 in.hg.

But if it is a performance engine 10 in. at idle may be correct.

What is the cold start-up reading?

    Just interested.

  • I've taken that video a long time ago, running EFI now. Microsquirt.

Never had an issue with vacuum really.

  • should be about 20
