  • What is the music of the girls first adage at the very beginning of this video? It's absolutely breathtaking! Plus the adage is such beautiful choreography... so perfect for the students of VBA.

  • @GymnasticDancer - I'm not sure of its "official" title, but it is taken from Petipa's 1896 ballet "the Pearl", created for the gala held at the Bolshoi theater in honor of the coronation of Tsar Nicholas II. It is true Imperial music! There are several other pieces from this ballet in this performance as well.
