I've got a 2001 Sonata V-6 that has been all over the U.S and also used like a 4WD for camping and bottom line: It's the BEST V-6 I have ever encountered. Torque out the ass and I have smoked plenty of V-8s from the stop light much to their shagrin. I have a 2011 Genesis on my radarscreen for purchase in June of 2011. The V-8 of course....Can't wait to sneak up on the Creeps in Caddy's at the stoplight and grin as I pull away in my new sleeper-beast.

Slowly but surely I'm becoming more and more interested in the Genesis. Gotta take one for a drive. Might be just the right thing for people like me who can't really afford the big boys like the Benz or BMW or even Lexus and Infiniti. Hopefully they aren't too bad pricewise 2 years from now cause this is definately going to be on my list.

Automakers need to realize that prices keep climbing yet paycheques don't seem to be doing that. This is the solution right here.

That was the 3.8 V6 version. A small engine for such a big car. The V8 version is considerably quicker. Most american V8 sedans can barely reach 260.
