Interesting fact: when Scales says "You see, I must.." the actual words he says are "Kxuk aj nx0 A mijk", meaning "That is why I must...". Interesting. And in the video where Krystal is explaining her staff to Fox, two lines of dialogue aren't even spoken.

:D I have been and am currently researching and figuring out the spoken and proper pronunciation of the language. Let me know if you're interested in what I find to help with your translator ^^ I'd love to help get it updated.

As much as I love this game, I feel it would've been better if it wasn't tied to Star Fox. It should have been its own game, with General Scales as the villain. What I wouldn't give to see the original version of this game remade for modern times.

I just discovered something. This guy may not be dead. He may have only been knocked out and the Sharpclaw turned on him and captured him. He is probably still in a cell somewhere on Sauria enraged that his own troops betrayed him. If this is the case he might break out and become a primary antagonist in the series. Since Andross is either dead or a disembodied spirit Scales now has no affiliates and will probably take over Andross' status as the villain.

the Saurian Language reminds me of the Celtic and North Germanic languages, like Welsh or Swedish...i just realized Swedish mixes English words, so Saurian would be kind of like Swedish.

There's actually a guide how to speak Dino in this game in the instruction booklet near the back.

For example:

The vowels in English are re-arranged, and the letter M stays the same. Also, Y does not exist in Dino, it is replaced with an O.

Using your Saurian/English translator as reference; I'm guessing "kao" (meaning "the") is from a typo? By the translator, "the" translated into Saurian is "kxo" which I would myself pronounce that as "c'k-soh".. yet they say "kao", which translates into English as "tie"..

I always laughed when they'd be all "sdfurenbuiher GENERAL SCALES etc".

@krystalarchive I know it's been two years, but I've ran it through the translator: The untranslated line is "kxaj aj dek eloh" - translated: "this is not over".

I don't know why the writers chose the "KX" to be so oddly pronounced (kxo (the) is pronounced as KAY-OH, but here (kxaj (this)) it's said as "KEY-AJ") - then again, how else could you pronounce it?

Apparently this language is just a form of old Cornish but reversed ^^
