LOL Oh God the memories. I remember being in the middle of a fight once and next thing I see was 'Now Loading' ...POOF !! the entire group I was in is standing next to some wizard spires. Had a Wizard with an itchy evac button set up and he hit it by accident LOL. Needless to say the rest of the raid was a little upset and we were completely confused as to just what happened to us. LOL
no more corpse runs in eq unless you want you exp back went back and played for month recently and loved it but alot has changed now not to sure its gonna make it to much longer

What was so funny was that if your guild got wiped, everyone on the server would talk about it. "hey, did you here the guild "soandso" got wiped in PoH" LOL. The info traveled around the entire world of EQ, I'm surprised the NPC's didn't talk about it.
Just watch, a game will come out that will be just as hardcore as this and we all will have a ton of fun again. EQ had a lot of little things in it that made the game so great.
not to mention how for a long time if u died u had to go get ur corpse instead of the summons they added later or the cheap easy style all games have these days of respawning with everything to running as a ghost to ur corpse
that is so awesome... so many memories. the feeling of absolute despair when you'd get wiped in PoH back in "The Day" (when the planes were totally wacked out prekunark) and you just KNEW you had a long night and a ridiculous CR ahead of you and then the waiting naked in neriak.. i tried wow and although fun and "balanced" and not such a time synch it just lacked the emotional content i found in eq1 and i could never get into it. thank you for this.
This brings back so many great memories. The time when you didn't find strats everywhere, when people had to come up with own ways of doing things because guilds kept this stuff a secret. I spent so many days /played up there, sadly no game will ever come close to what EQ was.

But EQ was a 1000xs more difficult, and required a lot more teamwork. Was really hard to do things by yourself.

It major sucks when like the mob glitches into the wall and ends up on a lower level where you have to pass 30 mobs, and then it causes a train.
Oi, when I saw that first mob leave the room, I knew what was coming! Lol, good times.
Painful with getting the corpse back sometimes.
Grab a necromancer and get a whole bunch of "coffins"? For the guild.
WOW is too easy. Great graphics etc.
