That's actually true for carburetors, but while you'll lose power and fuel efficiency, it does run the engine cooler, not sure about fuel injection but I could imagine it being the same. This guy gloats a lot, but statements that he said such as the one you called him a dumbass about are actually true.
Haven't you ever heard of needing to Re-Jet carbs after altering the intake or exhaust because the air/fuel ratio WILL change if you alter either.
