The same year Elvis went to RCA, Gene went to Capital.. He always .. If Elivs had already done something , Gene would not do it. If so we would have a Christmas Record of Genes today. so sad.

why is he trying to sound like Elvis? Elvis learn't his trade from The Johnny Burnette rock n Roll Trio, so was he trying to be like them? of course not, and Gene was not trying to be a clone Elvis. Listen to the way he sings, it is unique.
