Band is lethargic. His voice is lethargic. Mighty max's drums are almost the same in every song. Songs aren't as well written anymore. Chord change in the middle of this song and many new songs is totally generic and done only for the purpose of a change. Lyrics are certainly not as original and meaningful as they once were. Just not as organic as he once was. I am glad I got to see him a few times though. It's fun to see him play the songs live, but he and the band are just not as good as they

Normally I'd rip on a band that thinks 4 guitars is necessary, but not here. [Yeah, 3 would be fine. Even 2, since you don't hear much of the acoustic in this mix.]

Steven on lead

Nils with his distinctive style [not a lot on this one, but incredible on "Tunnel of Love"

Patti on acoustic for extra flavor, I guess. But, keys and cymbals take care of it just fine.

Regardless, I'm talking outta my ass since I'm just an intermediate on guitar.

@mcestatico Look again... at 0:18 you see the cord coming out of the Telecaster. Heck, right before that, the view from behind the stage before the song starts, when he's talking about the count-in, you see at 0:20 that the guitars to his right and to his left have cables coming out of their guitar input jacks. All of which run up the strap and to the wireless module strapped to the the guitar strap.

Wireless guitar transmitters have been around for years.
