Hard Candy is one of my favourite films of all time!

30 days of night is very well shoot and quite enjoyable but not quite in the smae league as Hard Candy.

but it gives alot of promise to what he can do with the teen hormone fest that is theTwilight saga.

Com'on Slade show us some gore! set edward on fire, not sparkling like a bloody christmass tree!

David Slade! Brilliant film, and Blair is incredible in this. (The cartoon clips are also delightfully disturbing) Also, why didn't this win anything for sound design? To the person below that doesn't get it...you know what "the Rat Race" is, right? Groborus building! LOL.. Palindromes rock. check out the face at 00:52 and at 06:00 who looks just like the rat with sunglasses.

This is really tedious. A series of repeated events that do not really change or get more interesting as the film unfolds. It's very boring. The excessive use of jump cuts and funky colours makes it even worse.

I agree. I got the point of the short film half way through. You don't need to show the scenes so many times to get the point across, especially for a 10 minute one. If you're boring the audience, you're not doing your job as a director.

Vinczent: this was originally supposed to be interactive on the Amazon website. You were able to click on different parts of the screen to be taken to one of the many alternate endings. Here on Youtube it is just playing all the way through without explaining this. :)
