  • Most designers and teachers will say to insert your hook from right to left under the front vertical bar (a side-to-side instruction). Since I am opposed to instructions which do not allow a left-hander to learn as easily, I use the words "side to side" under the front vertical bar exclusively.

  • this is the first time i've heard the stitch instruction referred to as side to side. is that the same as insert the hook into the front vertical bar?
