Muslims seem to lack common sense...either that or they are brainwashed. How can you observe the horrible conditions that Muslim countries/cultures produce and then contrast them to Christian based countries/cultures. You tell me country is God forsaken. Speaking of SJS, did you hear that a mistrial was declared in the case of the Muslim who killed a one woman, and wounded four others in front of a Jewish community center in Seattle?

The coverage has failed to note he was a Muslim, and that his victims were all Jews, instead focusing only on the man's "mental health". However it IS notable that jihadi recruiters often deliberately target those who are mentally deficient, uneducated, disaffected, etc.

Yes, I've been following that trial fairly closely on the blogs and it's been in the news a little here in Portland since we're not too far away. It amazes me that a guy can shoot up a Jewish center and shout that he's targeting Jews while shooting but the stupid jury can't figure out if he was guilty. If juries are this dumb we're in a lot of trouble in any future terror related trials.

Yeah, it boggles the mind that a jury cannot determine premeditation in a case where the guy researched the ammunition beforehand (hollow point), researched the best place to find Jews, and then concealed the weapons in a tote-bag.

Just out of curiosity - have YOU heard a single mention of jihad or terrorism, in relation to this case, from the media coverage you've seen?

I think the only mention I heard of jihad or terrorism relating to the Seattle rampage was on Fox News (national). Nothing has been mentioned locally. Thankfully there's some great blogs out there.
