This song really falls flat for me. The appeal of the old version was that it was a waltz, it was Cinderella's thoughts as she danced and the music flowed better. This version is an attempt to change that Dream come true moment into a lonely soul-singer's piece, the type of song you sing while seated, and it just doesn't seem to fit. It is a good song and if I heard this version first I'd probably like it, but in comparison to the old version, it just seems like a forced updating of a classic.
