  • great review .great site lot,s of info .

  • does the fisheye mode work on video ?

  • So you say it's one of the best point-and-shoots. Which one is the best and why is it better than this one?

  • Hey MiKE!

You r the "BEST". I really like your reviews. U don't only present the features and other significant information but also u tell the final answer to the viewers which makes our decision really very very easy, either to get that product or not.

Thank you very much for such a great job.

    Keep it up :)

  • Hey! I'm a guy and I like the brown. Fuck you!

    lol

  • not impress

  • does the canon powershot sd4500 have night vision?

  • any way to get a waterproof case? (link?)

  • SD4500 battery: ~650 mAh. (150 shots)

    s95 battery: ~1000 mAh. (200 shots)

The amount of energy is different and the number of shots will also be different.

  • what camera did you use to make this video the one that you were recording

  • where can i get it in pink? i can't seem to find it in pink anywhere

  • For anyone struggling with the color please note that in Europe this camera has been released as the IXUS 1000 and comes in BROWN, PINK, and traditional SILVER. So, US customers who can't stomach the brown probably just have to wait a little bit longer. Better colors are coming.

  • Hi shot video n HD and slow motion , but wen I download and play it n HD TV the quality s bad does not look any closer to a HD video. Am I missing any setting or does the video need to be saved in a different format? I see your sample videos are fine. Pls suggest.

  • NJ devils fan! keep up the good work, very useful reviews.

  • Would u prefer this camera or the nikon coolpix sd8100

  • Nice pumpkin

  • i have a panasonic tz5. is this an upgrade if i buy this camera?

  • @dillsnufus - NOO WAY the upgrader for the tz5 - is the Lumix tz10, there is no Canon point and shoot that can match the Tz10 (EISA Award for Best travel compact camera)

  • Omg, I don't know if I should buy the SD4500 IS or SX210 IS! Can u help me?

I mostly use the camera with my friends, at parties and clubs, but also travel a lot, then shot photos of landscapes, and everything else. And I like to take pictures and film shows. So... SD4500 IS or SX210 IS??

    (sorry for my English hehe)

  • @Jenniwinter - you travel a lot? then go for the Panasonic lumix tz10.

it won the EISA award for best travel compact camera, besides it's got a wide angle Leica lens, a 460 000 res lcd, inteligent auto, video with stereo sound, wayyyy better!

  • I have another question. On Amazon, plenty of reviewers complain about the subpar image quality they are getting from their SD4500's (citing the lack of crispness, soft images). Yet at the same time, you say quite the opposite.

Are these people holding this level of camera (pocket P&S) to too high a standard? (It wouldn't see so, since a lot are commenting on not only soft images... but out & out blurry). Can you confirm/re-assess your evaluation in terms of image quality?

  • @JohnLeeMD Most Amazon reviewers do not have a clue what they are talking about. They either don't know how to operate a camera or are comparing it to a 60D. In the point-and-shoot world, the SD4500 is one of the better choices. That's why sites like infoSync World exist--to give you an honest, thorough review so you can have solace in the fact that most people on the internet do not know their ass from their elbow.

    Hope that helps!

  • I'm sorry, but did you say that the low-light capability applies to videos too? Or just for pictures? AND, how would that performance be if camera is in zoom (i.e. video'ing and have to zoom in in low-light scenario... still good? Or does that degrade, as one might assume).

  • Thanks for the review. The Nikon S8100 looks very inviting with its 30-300mm equiv. field of view. Would love to see it reviewed by the evil black pumpkin and his pal. :)

  • i hope to see it very soon

  • SD4500 or sx210? I keep reading that the sx210 is super slow and has a bad lens shadow and the SD4500's battery life is sooooooooooooo painfully bad?

  • @ktsvids It's tough--the SX210 IS is really not that slow, but it's not as fast as newer cameras with the latest firmware. The SX210 IS will give you more manual controls while the SD4500 IS brings 1080p to the table and sacrifices manual controls.

And let me tell you something about lens shadows. It depends on how you shoot. When a flash is close to the lens and you shoot close-up shots at a certain angle, you're going to get a shadow. The best are popup flashes.

  • @infosyncvideos

Thanks so much! I really appreciate the advice and love your reviews!! :)

  • @ktsvids Neither go with a Panasonic fh20 or Panasonic LX5...

  • nice review but i just got the sx210 and happy with that so far..if you get a chance can you do a review of the nikon s8100 that also suppose to be good in low light..

anyways thanks for your expert opinion!

  • would you say this is much better than powershot sx210 IS???

  • great review!!

  • a review of sx20???PLEASE

  • SLR review soon...Thanks Mike! :)

  • Surprisingly good review.

    Thank you.

  • will you be reviewing the d3100

    nice video

  • why didn't you mention about battery life of this camera?

  • @au1947 It's about equivalent to the PowerShot S95. And have you seen what happens when I mention battery life in a review? It brings all the tards to the yard.

  • @infosyncvideos dude went u gonna review the nikon 8100?

  • @jhondoe34 I have it in the office right now.

  • Why You guys don't do DSLR's reviews? Great video anyways

    Thumbs up!

  • @LaczupakabraPL We will have a few DSLR reviews coming up!
