Flip Mino Review

Ok, so, the flip mino in the stores is in $200. is a piece of CRAP! the audio quality is horrible, it nearly shoots 400p, and it doesnt have optical zoom. (i said OPTICAL, not digital). i can name you six cameras that are better than the flip in every sense and for the same prize, and if ur lucky even lower.

here, this cameras DESTROY the flip. Same prize, 10 times better quality.

i am really close to buying this but there is one thing that im not sure about that nobody will give me a straight answer for : CAN ........ IT.........PAUSE......yaknow like make part of a video then continue in another room or is that somthing you have to edit in or is that somthing you cant do at all???

it records clips. so when you put it onto your computer it imports as different clips and then just put it together in an editor and all the clips should play as a movie.

nope!! lol it is called FLIP mino coz the usb port thing flips out from the actual device!! :D clever huh

@pimpingpete First load the flip videos to your hard drive. Then when in MM in the upper left - Import video. This should bring up your hard drive files. Search around for the saved flip vids and import them into MM. Once video is in MM you can edit and arrange at will.

How is the sound quality compared to the visual quality? I'm interested in buying the product, the main purpose would be to create bass guitar covers and upload them to YouTube, would the Flip MinoHD work for this?

the sound quality is amazing. i use the mino in clubs and right next to speakers. the audio is crystal clear. fantastic picture and amazing audio. can't ask for better in price and size.

It has built in software, so i have a strong feeling it takes it directly to that(no installation needed) then you can save it anywhere you like. I dont have this camera, but ive read up on it, and im thinking of getting it(Christmas money may help :P)

Nice endorsement. I have the flip as well and really like it. Could you PLEASE check out thesmartpod channel to see a unique camera and video mount accessory that is perfect for the Flip Video. The Smart Pod attaches anywhere and can hold any camera position, and is great for vloggers. I would appreciate any feedback.

Not very often that a product comes along that consistently gets powerful reviews. This is also compounded by the fact that it is a video camera, so seeing IS believing, literally. lol.

That's cool man, this is by far the best review thus far. I'm a little bugged about the flickering, that colored static. But I still want one. That camera is amazing.
