My parents paid for drum lessons for several years. He turned me on to a lot of good Jazz. He had a huge library. He made some derogatory remarks about some drummers that I liked - "Rock" drummers - and insulted me when I called him a few years ago (for that time I was drunk 30 years ago). I'd like to remember him for the positive stuff though. He's TOTALLY professional, anti-drug, moral, disciplined, very very super humble guy. Not my cup of tea, but I did learn things...Bruford's way better...
If you are who I think you are. It will cost you $200.00 an hour to jam and study with me.

What a great sense of humour he has! I'd pay $40 per hour for a drum lesson. He's ten times better than Ringo Starr (just joking!!!)
