@lalaliam The character, John Henry Holliday, (nicknamed "Doc") was suffering badly from tuberculosis (it did eventually kill him) during the period the film takes place. It has be theorised that Doc's illness was what made him such a good gunfighter. Not really caring if he lived or died, a death by being shot likely to be far less painful and drawn out as one from TB, he was able to elevate his consciousness and so draw faster than any opponent that faced him. I highly reccommend this film.
