  • 「もじもじ王子」って^^;;

  • WTF? Doug Aldrich rides a motorbike??? There should be limits to the amount of coolness one man can have. Dude is making me feel really inferior right now!!!

  • Hey Doug

Where you live? I've been thinking to stop by and say Hi...nice bike anyway...ride safe.

  • i dont have bike but i still watched it, his cool man

  • Hey Doug, was a real pleasure meeting you in Memphis and talking Bikes for a little while, youre a gentleman and a scholar..Safe Riding Brother!

    Regards,

    Mike

  • Hey Doug, I hope you tought Mr Happy how to do this young man ?. ;)

  • SORRY MAN ,BUT YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO DO IT WELL .

  • That was very helpful thank you! I now know I can do an oil change on my 2002 XL883 sportster! But, should I still take my 2006 FLSTCI (Heritage Softtail Classic) to the Harley shop like I do ever 2500-3000 miles because don't they change the primary? and what is the primary anyway?

    Rubber side down.

Jeff (guitar tech takes flight) google

  • Go video!!Shouldn the bike be level when draining the oil?

  • SOUNDS NICE DOUG,WAS THAT A STOP SIGN?

  • THIS GUY JUST A HARLEY DAVIDSON RIDER AND HE SHOW AND EXPLAIN AS WELL HOW TO CHANGE YOUR OIL BUT THOSE THAT ARE HARLEY DAVIDSON MACHANIC ONLY EXPLAIN IT TO YOU BUT NEVER ACTUALLY DOING IT WHY DA THE ONLY THING MORE I WANTED TOO KNOW WAS THE MODEL MORTOCYCLE HE WAS DOING THE OIL CHANGE ON I GUESS A SOFTTAIL . NOT ALL HD MOTORCYCLE OIL CHANGE THE SAME. WHEN OIL IS THAT DIRTY GOOD PRACTIC TO DRAIN IT RIDE IT FOR A WEEK AND DRAIN IT AGAIN

  • Simply unbelieveable Man!

  • ALWAYS stick some engine flush in and run the engine then empty it, never put clean oil in a dirty engine, it costs a fiver and makes a huge difference.

  • Down to earth guy an one bad ass guitar player. Way to go Doug your the man.

  • WHAT THE FUCK!!!! :DDD

  • This dude awesome. He plays on some of the worlds biggest rock stages and goes home and rides a harley and changes that shit himself. His garage actually looked junky. Normal guy , extrodinary talent.

  • does anybody know if doug is one from iluminati of freemasons ??

please tell me what do you think......... I personally think he's not

    just wants to make sure

    thank you

  • if you don't know what oil to run, just maybe you aren't really into riding, in that case ride it over the your Local H~D dealer and pay the H D (Hundred Dollars) by the way, use Amsoil 20/50 , your Harley will run 10 to 15 degrees cooler, not rocket science!

  • Nice video. About your helmet, where did you get it?

  • man Doug's sucha pro at life

  • He missed a point on oil. 90% of the time oil will look black after a week in a motor. To tell if its bad put some on your finger and it will either be clear so you can see skin or still real dirty then change it.

Also after checking color look under the light or sun for any metal flakes.... could give you a heads up...

reason I say this is because when he got the oil on his hands it really didn't look that bad at all...

  • LOVE DOUG!!! He is prettty much one of the most UNDERRATED guitarists of all time...and one of the nicest guys of all time!

  • Excellent video! Two things worth considering? One, I think it best to pour a couple of ounces of fresh oil into the new filter before attaching it. Also, the dip stick level markings normally aren't placed to read properly if the stick is fully inserted.

Ok, now onto the important stuff....that's really a nice bike you have there!

  • Cool video, I like that your neighbor was out cutting his grass. Just another guy wrenching on his bike. Umm...you totally ran that stop sign at the end of your street. Thanks for the info, it helps a lot.

  • gracias mostro

  • Need more guys like this on our planet..

  • @allaussiedownunder the world needs more guys like this guy? Guys who run STOP SIGNS???!!!!! lol just kidding. Good Video! thumbs up!

  • whoops, i thought u were supposed to put two cycle oil in a harley. i was wondering why mine knocks so bad.

  • very good, but i have a 2004 fatboy and it is stock and i cant find that drain plug to let all the oil out.

  • men u look like a real cowboy!!!!

  • very cool that you took the time to make the vid doug. thx. sick.

  • right on... my fatboy will be happy....

  • this video is the best, i still have my cork on order from harley . i do need more airplane and lawnmower noises in my garage, i actually put all my oil directly into the ocean via small tide pools.

  • this is awesome on so many levels! down-to-earth guitar god living like a suburban joe changing his own oil. how cool is this?!

  • This was the most random video I've ever seen. Great though. Great player, and badass on a motorcycle.

  • So he plays guitar like a God and is a handyman with Harleys....is there anything he CAN'T do? XD

  • This was great!!! Cant wait to see more!!! Doug is the greatest!!!!! :DD

  • i like the way he's still wearing that expensive looking watch whiel getting his hands dirty :) what a legend

  • does doug live near an airfeild or something?

  • Doug on a motorcycle?! You've got to be kidding! I remember Doug driving around in his litle white CRX... furthermore, seeing Doug getting his hands dirty is so funny... he was always Mr. Clean... wash those hands; always manicure those nails... Doug, I am glad to see you in the spot light my friend... if anyone deserves it it is YOU! ROCK ON!

  • Dude you need to fill the oil filter with oil about 1/4 of the way otherwise your engine will have no oil for a few seconds and that's shit for the engine!!!

  • Aldrich,

You have an excellent approach. The camera was spot-on and your commentaries while amusing were factual. This was fun/educational to watch and makes this job not so intimidating for the regular Joe. All this changes when the hot lights hit the stage...

    Thanks Dude.

  • Doug just seems like a really cool dude. I've only learned of him recently, but from what I have seen, he is a very modest and humble guy.

  • sometimes is GOOD to be DOUG

    DOUG to the BONE ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • you are the best Doug

    witha les paul

    or

    with a harley

  • Note to self.... 20w-50 kills batteries. LOL!!!!!!

  • Cool!! I don't know a thing about bikes, but loved watching this video! Loved the way he talks...., awaiting for another "Teach yourself" by Doug.

  • looking foward to the Doug Aldrich "teach Yourself to Use Toilet paper" video.

  • Doug, thanks for the video. A few points to ponder, 1) warm the bike first as the oil will flow better. 2) add a few oz of oil to the filter so the engine wont starve at start-up.

    Thanks and good luck!

  • ...the Ghost Flames are so "ghost" that you can barely see them... )))))))) lol

  • pretty amazing..I do not KNOW much bout Harleys..but luv them..found that the way Doug explained it all..so cool. His softspoken laidback ways just rock..anytime.What a cool cool guy..A PLEASURe to know him x

  • I saw Doug in the German issue of an Easy Rider magazine, so knew he is riding Harleys - but I didn't know he's doing maintainance like oil changes by himself. Cool Video - thanks for posting

  • よりによってハーレーみたいな鉄くずに乗ってたのかよ。

    ハーレーのりにとっちゃオイル交換すら教えてもらわなきゃならんのか

    バッドムーン時代が一番好きだったな。
