I was not drawn to this song because of religion... I'm actually an atheist. But I can't deny that the emotion, passion, feeling and beauty of performance is simply incredible. I feel silly listening to this with my friends, because we are a secular group and they judge, but I can't deny the power of raw, human passion that exudes from every second of this song. If all musicians could write and perform with this kind of force, i cant imagine how spoiled we'd be.
