@tuxedo94, it makes a huge difference. Maneuverability is greatly increased by just a couple degrees of steering angle. At low speeds they turn opposite of the front wheels, at high speeds they turn the same way. This is to help with quick lane changes, as well as agility in avoiding accidents.

@smoceskreen yeah i got a 4th gen lude vtec with 4ws, at low speeds there is an obvious difference (with the rear wheels turning in the opposite direction to the front wheels) makes parking and u turns MUCH easier, at road speeds (where the rear wheels turn in the same direction as the fronts) i havent noticed much difference, just feels a bit more grippy and sure footed. I havent really tested the handling so cant say too much. btw the 4ws is always on, full time.

hey i saw your comment about installing 4ws on a non 4ws 4th gen as long as you get it from a 4th gen with it form 92-94 then yes its possible alot of wireing it up and the actuator its self but it is very possible its done by intalling the sensors and basically bolting evrything up if you look at your fuse box under your dash theres actually a fuse for 4ws but no fuse in it and alot of fuses that are under the hood fuse box are for 4ws mostly abs and one 4ws power outlet look on preludeonline
