But the thing is if it had water on it before how did it get there cuz it would be as hot as it is now and the water would have evaperated......so then it is impossible for water to ever be there
merkur was the moon from venus , now klimakatastrophe because moon merkur is away. when earthmoon away earth here also deathplanet....when planet bigger is the planet , more moons when little planet few moons...english right :-( ??
It's a little bit of both the atmosphere and the relative closeness to the sun. This video mentioned that Venus rotates extremely slowly (approximately 243 Earth-days). This means the same area of Venus will be exposed to sunlight for an incredibly long time. Since Venus is closer to the Sun than Earth, the sunlight and heat are more extreme. The same area of Venus being exposed to sunlight means that area becomes extremely hot, and the dense atmosphere traps the heat
I have never seen a science show so un-science like. If Venus is global warming out of control, why isnt Mars (which has an atmosphere of 95% CO2)? Even when making a show about Venus, you just cant help throwing out global warming propaganda. Research please before you create something you pretend is educational.
@moontalon22 wait, so the greenhouse effect is dependent on where the planet is in relation from the sun? im pretty sure Mars still gets plenty sunshine. the greenhouse effect is when CO2 keeps certain sunrays inside the atmosphere right?
yes, it gets sunlight but not enogh to sustain the effect as much, Venus however is close and a huge ball of gas and rubel. Have you ever seen this in a book: Venus is to hot, Mars is to cold earth is just right?
@hoosherdaddy I think you are ignorant of the facts. Mars has an atmosphere that is mostly CO2, but the atmosphere is very thin, as Mars does not have a large enough ionosphere to protect it from solar rays blasting it off. I can describe it like my bucket is full of 95% water, but my pool is only 10% water. It is not just composition at issue, it is also raw quantity. Please do your own research before trying to undermine scientific discovery.
why in this video is it red, but not in our sky. and if it's 900 degrees and acidic heir how did the parachute survive a landing their because it's not true that is why.
Its still not impossible to colonize. You may think im crazy, and this is far beyond todays technology, but if you put solar shades around it from the sun it would drasticcally lower the temperature. Also we would have to move it back to the habital zone.
thumbs up if you recognized he said a day is 224 earth days when that's the length of a venusian year, a day is actually 243 earth days

Since Venus spins slow and it's shorter than Earth, it should be Earth's grandmother!

If Marswas closer to the sun than venus it would be the hottest but scince its far away and cold the green house affect cant take place.

the commentary is way too fast. space school would be more enjoyable if you slowed it down a little for us slow dudes.
