  • As a Chinese myself, i can say, Mr. You are not a Chinese, cause if you were, than your grammar really sucks. 請重新回去上小學! I guess you are trying to ignite the hatred of US ppl toward Chinese, this for sure wont give them any benefit, except for those who works for military industrial complex, and it won't damage China, cause the average Chinese won't give a shit, since they who lives in the mainland can't use YouTube.

  • THANK YOU ronnie and nafta

  • I wouldn't worry about the superintendent with the wealth and income levels of the CEO's and top shareholders. The private sector is only "in free fall" for the workers, the public sector is disintegrating thanks to the neo-liberals who design our social policy.

  • Washington should be embarrassed at the level of poverty people are experiencing today as both parties continue to bicker over the various issues Americans are steadily losing their dreams. These very dreams are being passed on to others with Washington's "let them eat cake" attitudes which further exposes how out of touch they are or perhaps they just don't care.

  • I hate it when people say that American poverty isn't bad because poverty elsewhere is "worse." Is it any better to struggle in a country floating in a sea of wealth? It is worse! To work for someone living in a neighborhood (in the same city as you live in!) with people who drive four or five fancy cars when they have a vermin infested apartment and can't feed their kids? Do the poor in the US have any more power over their lives? They can't even get medicine even though it is available!

  • i knew they would be black

  • All this stuff is because when we go to walmart everything that we purchase as far as mostly clothes and electronics come from ..China...

  • How come they are so fat if they are so poor.

  • AMERICANS ARE WEAK MANJINAS. SO EASILY TO GIVE INTO SLAVERY. THATS OUR MONEY THE FEDERAL RESERVES TOOK. IT BELONGS TO US. WE SHOULDN'T BE STARVING IN POVERTY. WE DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIGHT ANYMORE! WE ARE FINISHED.

  • no matter how advance technology is, people need to work. if the company board fail to see this, soon or later no one will be able to buy their own product. it will drag them down too.

  • The ppl in the video don't look like they're starving though.

  • @lilyeve222 I know compared to poverty in Africa or South America the U.S poverty is not that bad.

  • @Dollface2050 It seems the only difference between the impoverished in two countries is resources (as little as there is) that are available in the US, social services, food banks etc.

  • @Dollface2050 So if you were 1 of two people to be hit by a car and you "only" suffered 2 broken legs and a brain injury as opposed to the other person who suffered DEATH... Then I guess your miniscule injuries would be chalked up to a mere "not that bad" in your book right?

Your comment was nowhere near well thoughtout at all. Comparing poverty levels w/o experiencing EITHER is not an intelligent move what-so-ever... To say the least.

  • @Dollface2050 True, because in Zimbabwe Africa there is 85%+ Unemployment. Where Women sell themselves just to bring in money for their family.

  • Since all the multiculturalism, the nation has gone third-world. I know they had the Great Depression once, but this time it's a global problem & more serious, due to the massive debts as well & also China & India now rising superpowers, during the Great Depression era before which lasted a decade in the USA, China & India weren't rising superpowers like they are now. It's a lot more serious & difficult to see any recovery from the collapse of capitalism, add that to all these immigrants.

  • Things are not getting better any soon, that's for sure. In the past manufacturing jobs were made redundant by industrial robots. But this time around technology has the potential to take over LOTS of service jobs. Actually there is not much room left, where the unfortunate ones can go to earn a decent living.

  • GOD BLESS AMERICA,, JENNY is poor but she has a MERCEDES BENZ and big gold earrings. I also want to be poor in AMERICA.

  • they are black and fat too

  • Funny how only the black communities are poor, Blacks make up 10% of the USA pop.

  • Fucking saddest thing is, a lot of us who have to get some kind of assistance are educated people, or have a decent trade that paid well. It's all fucked up. America is becoming a third world country. It's sad. Just really sad.

  • @rosesgilbert God coming down to genocide everyone AGAIN is he? What an asswhore he is.

  • Comment removed

  • OMG Drive a SUV to get free food

  • @nigee1970 - No worries, times are changing, soon. The super rich must be sh.... in their pants.

  • In the meantime JP Morgan is making big money on processing food stamps! With 47 million people on FS, and rapidly growing they must be in glee. More bonuses for the executives to buy yachts, $300,000 cars...

  • notice they are all fat black and drive? typical living beyond your means

  • @creedstat You didn't see the whites eating in that room?

  • This bring tears to my eyes. :(

  • @nigee1970 and the poor will never care about the rich

  • Why doesn't the US allow foriegn investment.

  • I think if there's not severe bettering soon that the US will have a workers and proletarian uprising soon. Maybe not a revolution but a grass root change.

Also they need to unionise, Unions is the best thing for the workers and the poor.

  • @ZaeroZ the unions are the ones bankrupting the USA. Union workers demand wages and benefits much higher than they are worth. Why do you think all the manufacturing jobs have left the USA and moved to other countries..."no unions in these other countries". At one time the unions were helpful...but over the years their demands have increased to the point where it is hurting the country

  • @inkey2 No they're not, you barely have anyone that is unionised. But say that this is true just as food for thought, and you're right factories is moving our because of unionised workers. To countries who don't unionise and the standard of living is shit. Are you telling me that you want a standard of living as India, China, Indonesia?

Factories are moving out because the US live in a globalised world, this happens to all developed countries. But only the US thinks the answer is to lower wages.

  • @inkey2 There are more jobs than factory jobs. Cause even if factories move out you still have a need for roadworks, power-plants, construction, cleaning and much more. jobs like these wont move out because they can't. You just need a more involved government.

  • My Friend open a grocery store in the USA. there is a america, his job is to maintain the hygiene in the store. so my friend ask him to clean up the toilet. and his respond was "Do you treat me like a slave ? " I understand you can work whatever you want. but you work with people with pay not free. this is american style. i think in Europe also like this.

  • We need to stop out sourcing our jobs to other countries! There are Americans willing to work, but the income is just not enough to survive. More education is needed to assist those with out a college degree.

  • one you become the king, it will never be always become the king. be nice when you are going up, because when you go down we will see you again with a BIG LAUGH. for those who like to be humble, don't try to be, don't think you are that GREAT.

  • There are no jobs for the middle class

  • how does that guy have an incurable desease. He seems to be able to walk and move around.

  • The saddest thing of all with this video is this: this reality NEVER comes up on the radar of the ruling class in Washington DC. And it won't. The Washington elites will NEVER do anything about this poverty.

  • These people living among the ruins of this town are not the decendants of those who created it. America was built by Europeans not obese mullatoes.

  • Lol a poor family with a big car.

  • @Zappina americans r lazy ass crybabys

  • @Zappina and did u saw the amount of food gived to, americans are to nice whit lazy ass motherfuckers

  • That's right russiatalk america is filled with poverty let's all just move to Russia because there is NO poverty there

  • In today's economics we have absolute and relative poverty. But I think only relative poverty exits if we expand the notion of poverty across space and time. In the point of view of a caveman, today's poor man is wealthy in his view. OTOH, in the point of view of alien in more advanced planet out there, even Bill Gates is poorer than the poorest man in his planet.

  • @JacquesZupp No i dont think Canada is going the same way you know why? Because Canadian banks are very conservative in fact there are only 7 banks and there all owned by the government and these banks dont give loans to every dipshit that asks for one , instead they carefully examine the financial situation of every one asking for a loan and determine if that person can pay it back unlike in the US where they encourage people do go into debt . Thats why our economy is more well off and safer.

  • @JacquesZupp no i dont hang around with rapists

  • theres no middle class in the US , in the states your either rich or your poor . If you say your middle class that means your actually lower middle class with debts up your ass

  • @JacquesZupp shut up you religious idiot

  • The thought that America could have remained a super-power for eternity was an irrational one to begin with, the fall made so much harder by fantasy promises made by arrogant leaders. The Chinese and many other struggling nations have lived in poverty for centuries. Sadly it's heading America's way.

  • @ChrizstianC no its not sad its what your people had coming when you Americans elected Reagen in the 80s and bush for a second time who they moved all the power towards the rich .

  • 3 year old son on public assistant and going to the food bank? so this fat bitch and you other ppl who have no job and is strugglin still decide to open up your legs and make kids and depend on tax payers to bail u out? fuck outta here. i dont feel sorry for none of ya'll dumbass.

  • Obama. the new gorbatchev, will his 80th birthday be celebrated in Peking?

  • We could be doing so more for everyone that was in this video and more if we stopped all these stupid wars we keep going into. Stop the wars and start taking care of people we have more than enuf man power to take care of all our needs there is no need for any of us to go homeless of hungry. America could feed the whole world and we have homeless hungry people living on the streets how stupid can we be? Wake up this is not America anymore this is something else Americans begging for lunch?

  • so sad :(

  • I know it's starting to sound like a broken record, but why are poor people the fattest demographic? Is there something about being unskilled and undereducated that makes your ass grow to gigantic proportions? I don't want to be shallow and play into stereotypes but it does appear that laziness and a lack of ambition are directly related to their underemployment. I don't know if it causes the poverty or if it is caused by it, but they certainly do not appear to have any self respect. Kinda sad.

  • @jmlebl2 Because cheap food is unhealthy food. They live off mostly Fast Food. And there aren't any fitness options in a poor neighborhood. So people get fat. Not being able to get a job? Fatter.

    It's caused by the poverty

  • @Fudgey123873434 IM NOT FAT MY FRIENDS ARE NOT FAT NO ONE IN MY SCHOOL IS FAT SO PISS OFF!!!

  • These people are so fat, and the lady had a nice car.

We need to send all foreign workers home and hire Americans.

Bring military home from everywhere to guard our borders and our streets.

    Stop killing each other.

    Respect our children.

Fix up boarded homes and allow homeless to live inside.

We must care for Americans first.

  • i never understand how poor people become fat!

  • The bottom line,BUY MADE IN USA,BOYCOTT ALL FOREIGN GOODS,if you cant find it made in USA buy it used in a pawn shop,or we will not have a country,And vote for any politician, that wants to tax imports, and get illegals out of america,we need to worry about our own not chinas,or mexicos. Its up to us the american consumer,we dont buy it they dont sell it,that simple.they will have to move back or go bankrupt.your choice.

  • @bjoe427

You dont have that option now that everything american is made in China.

  • @bjoe427

I dont understand how people can allow so many immigrants into this country. Hell im a liberal, but on this issue in my opinion they should cap the amount of people allowed in. How can a country survive if it inflates with so many fast breeding people, The US should also start regulating how many babies a family can have.

  • @lildread1 dumbass your economy when to shit because to many people in your society declared bankruptcy

  • @101spetsnaz

Our economy went to shit because of the housing bubble and Wall Street.

  • @lildread1 So you're a racist who believes we should destroy our freedoms and institute a quota like China? Liberal my ASS

  • @Fudgey123873434

oh god i have some controversial beliefs that don't fall in line with the typical liberal.

Well when mr.poverty has 7 babies and they all grow up to be gangbangers I think something like this is needed.

  • Legalize marijuana and we will have millions of new jobs...

  • USA USA USA USA

    No 1 No 1 No 1

    USA USA USA

    hang on a minute?

  • Holy shit how anti american is Russia Today?

Literally, 90% of their videos of how shitty the United States is.

Its not the cold war anymore...

  • @usindependent50 think it's called the truth? Does it hurt?

  • @usindependent50 RT is funded by the russian government. Have they told you that Russia has 16 per 1000 death rate or 15 per 100000 murder rate?

  • Do you really need russians to tell you that? Cant you just go outside and look for yourself at the decay, homelessness and crimerates that not even ex communist soviet shitholes can match?

There is no hate campain against USA. As you can see this reportage isnt made by russians. And so what if it were. They speak the truth without sprinkling it with patriotism. Many over here are pretty shocked to see how far america has fallen from grace. You guys in the military are part of the problem.

  • @Janusha

Yeah, I live in the United States. Poverty is not that bad in most cities. Sure Detroit, Chicago and some other cities are different stories. But the spread of income is much more even than it was ten, twenty, to thirty years ago. Nothing has changed.

Im in the military... How are they the problem?

  • @usindependent50

YOU in the military is obviously not a problem but the military in general is. The US army of world conquest proportions have largely outplayed its role and today serves only to drain americas riches. You can simply not afford it anymore. Who are they fighting anyway. Firing multimillion dollar a pop missiles into worthless clayhuts for their "insurgents" and their oil. Also everything suggest the spread of income is more onesided now than ever. The rich keep getting richer.

  • @Janusha

Hahaha! The army of world conquest? Doesn't that mean we have to conquer something...We cant not afford war? Military conflicts put us into debt! Their oil? Im guessing your talking about Iraq even though not a single oil contract has gone to the United States they have all gone to other foreign countries. Do you know we get less oil from Iraq than we did before the war? Politicians are the ones who make the decisions, not the military. Not the military's fault.

  • Dude... I dont have the numbers. Nobody does except your government but its estimated 40% of Iraq oil now goes to USA in return for american companies "rebuilding" their country. Instead you could save that trillion dollars a year it cost you to have that war and buy your oil from my country at a higher price instead. Without military conflict. Saddam Hussein was only put in power by CIA anyway because the previous dude didnt want to sell cheap oil to USA. Thats a fact. Look it up.

  • And yeah... Im not blaming the people IN the army doing what they are told. But your armed forces only function today is to drain your countrys wealth. God damnit.. you havent even cleaned up after hurricane katrina and there are still 2 smoking holes in New York. With one in 7 americans below the international poverty line, what the hell are you bombing other countries for. Go home and fix your own doorstep. Naive americans thinking they are in Iraq dying for freedom and libertyyy. Tragic.

  • @Janusha

The memorial in lower Manhattan is almost complete.

I never once said the conflict in Iraq was the best course of action. I dont believe it was necessary or well planned. Afghanistan was much more important and we completely forgot about that. But to say it was not justified is completely disrespectful to all those in the US military who have sacrificed for Iraqi Freedom which we have fought and died for. To say we haven't is a damn lie. The US is in the best position to help.

  • @Janusha

Those are bullshit statistics. I can tell you that right now.

We receive about five percent of Iraq's oil. Or around 414,000 barrels a day (compared to 795,000 barrels in 2001) This is alot less compared to 2001 when Iraq's oil production was much lower as well.

Trillion dollars a year? Another bullshit number... Where are you finding this shit?

The war has cost around 750 billion for the last eight years.

It is much more logical just to by oil from Saddam if that was the goal...

  • @Janusha

...Oil production after the Iraq liberation lowered extremely causing increased oil prices. The best way to receive oil from Iraq would be to make a deal with Saddam. You said yourself that the war cost a "trillion" dollars per year (which is incorrect -- 750 billion for eight years) which would outweigh greatly the cost of any oil we could remove from the region.

  • So now we have gone from NO oil at all to 5%. I can promise you its more than that.

My point here is that the US army exsists to secure future oil reserves for your country. Not to heroically die abroad for american freedom or libertyyy or to enforce americas version of democracy. Whether its 1 trillion or 750 billion depends who you ask. Point is that you cant afford it. You are borrowing heavily from China to support this madness yet do not offer health coverage. The contrasts are staggering.

  • @Janusha

No we went from receiving 795,000 in 2001 to receiving 414,000 now. And Iraqi Oil production is around 8,000,000 barrels a day. Thats 5%.. I dont care if you can promise that its more. Why the hell would Ibelieve you over the Energy Information Administration.

Quit using that oil bullshit already. ITS BULLSHIT.

The military has never once been used to secure an oilfield for American companies. Were fighting for IRAQI freedom not the United States.

    Disrespectful piece of shit...

  • One thing we know for sure over here is that everything american, especially their war efforts, are greatly exaggerated. If I really wanted to go in depth here, I could but I dont so I wont.

Ron Paul is unfortunately desperately conservative which excludes him from being a good candidate for running things but atleast he makes sense about the insane spending on military in todays bankrupt america.

  • @Janusha

How are the war efforts exaggerated? Go in depth so I understand what the fuck your talking about. Why the hell do I care about your 2012 endorsements? How would you know what the war efforts are like?

  • Have we already forgotten Bush? How many reasons were given for invading Iraq. First 9-11. Then it was their "nukelar" capabilities. Then the chemical weapons that CIA helped them stockpile in the 80s. Then suddenly there were no large piles of mass destructive weapons so suddenly it was all about helping the people. A "democratization" effort. Liberating Iraq. You need to inject Kennedy grade patriotism directly into your eyeballs to eat that without question. "Enduring freedom" my arse.

  • @Janusha

The one and only story we were told since 2003 was our goal in Iraq was to remove the Saddam Regime and instill a new democratic government. We did both in two years. It would have been irresponsible to leave when the country was not stable so for the past six years we have been focusing on stabilizing the country. I dont give a shit what the politicians say. The military effort has always been focused on Iraq. Im tired of those disrespecting the sacrifice of those men and women.

  • How the fuck was it your job to go over there and do that. But you did it anyway out of the goodness of your hearts right. Its increasingly out of fashion to invade third world shitholes for their "insurgents" and their oil. Inventing bullshit reasons. Running hate campaigns against those that dont want to join. Most notably France this time. No civilized country DID support the US invasion. Running bases in 150 countries. Meanwhile you owe more money than you actually have in circulation.

  • Americas real enemies are the Chinese and Arabs. They have for decades undermined the US economy. China pump their new wealth back into Dollars, while lending USA trillions so you can maintain your BEST IN THE WOOORLD image while China secretly buys US debts and failed business at overprice. What they are buying it acceptance. USA is now unable to push China or Arabia on any political issue because they hold a deed to american debt. China alone owns 50% of USAs 14.3 trillion national debts.

  • If they want their money back, you cant pay. These are problems you cant aim a battleship at. Hell even France controls 600 000 jobs in USA now. So if you pull another anti france campaign, Obama would have 600 000 unemployed on his hands as those jobs go to france. He cant afford that. Likewise muslim Arabia and communist China are in perfect positions to screw the dollar and take over as the leading economy. Legally. In the name of your own capitalism.

  • USA is too fragile to have a conflict at home. It took only 3 highjacked planes to fuck you up. There are still 2 smoking holes in New York. Which is why you have a policy of preemptive / preventive attack. Which basically allows you to attack any country YOU feel might pose a future threat. I honestly believe you would make up some bullshit "nukelar" reason to go to full war on the Arabs or China in defense of your dollar. However If that happens. Dont expect Russia and Europes support.

  • @Janusha

Your an idiot. You dont even know that the memorial in New York is almost complete and the tower is on its way. You also believe we would go to war with China.

  • @Janusha

So your saying there are no insurgents. And cut the bullshit about the oil. You have failed to make one statement to back that piece of shit claim. How many times do I need to state facts to you before you quit being so purposefully ignorant to spew so you can spread misinformation. The United States went in with a coalition of thirty countries and the United Kingdom was right by our side. Those countries were in want us there or are forced to by the United Nations.

  • No I dont know what this memorial is about. I could ofcourse google it and claim to know anyway but I cant imagine it has much significance in the greater sense of things. You will have to forgive my lack of american patented patriotism.

What exactly is an "insurgent" except a made up word to have an excuse to grab certain people and put them in a special place where they got no rights. Like they would have had if you had called them something else. Like forexample a P.O.W. or a Prisoner.

  • I know what that "coalition of the willing" was. A collection of countries of which most didnt even have their own army. Those that sent troops were only symbolically supporting the US led 99.5% american invasion. Tony Blair joined in and never politically got over it. I lived in England at the time. If america was out there for world peace, there are other places that need it more. Places without oil.

  • When you fire multimillion dollar a pop missiles into worthless goatherding raghead villages. It creates jobs at Lockheed Martin and Boeing. Which again spreads money out to hundreds of subcontractors who can all go out and buy homes and cars which again is taxed back to the government. So in america, war is good for business. Its not just money down the drain. It fuels the whole system. No other country is made like this. Atleast stop glorifying it and claim its all for freedom and liberty.

  • @Janusha

If was was so good for business why has it put us into debt? Think about it.

  • @Janusha

So the United States cant liberate any place with oil or it means they're stealing it? Thats fucking stupid. Im not someone who agreed with going to Iraq. But we are defiantly not going to leave and the military mission has always been focusing on strengthening Iraq. But I guess you wouldn't know about the schools we built. Or the hospitals, highways, and water purification plants. But you will somehow say thats a lie.

  • @usindependent50

Tell me.... What country did ever USA fix.

MY country build schools, hospitals, roads, infrastructure. We give 60 times more money pr capita than the average aid giving country. This year were giving money and aid to 121 countries. I know america likes to claim to give the most but giving Taliban 6 billiond ollars from 89 to 92 and then giving Pakistan 10 billion dollars to oppose Taliban in 2006 isnt foreign aid. Its something entirely different. Medling is a good word.

  • @Janusha

The taliban? You mean the Mujahideen which split into the taliban and then those opposed, i.e., the northern alliance who helped us oust the taliban in 2002. The truth is you dont know shit. You havent been to either of those countries. All your information comes from behind a computer screen. Call it whatever you want but the army, airforce, marines, and navy are there FOR Afghanistan and Iraq.

  • @Janusha

If you dont know about it then dont talk about it.

The insurgency is made up of primarily Sunni Nationalists that held power under Saddam and became angered that the United States were putting Shiites in a power position. This meant that they no longer ruled over the majority of the population. The insurgency is primarily gangs for fighting for power. There are also foreign fighters from other countries.

Do you think were blowing ourselves up and shooting at ourselves?

  • @usindependent50

I believe aslong as you keep stepping in a behive, there will be angry little fuckers trying to sting you. Step the hell out of it. You arent helping anyone. Its a muslim country. Look at muslim countries. They dont go for OUR kind of civilization. they didnt ask to get "rescued" and you are there for oil. There can be no doubting that.

  • @Janusha

You keep saying were there for oil. But you have not said one thing to at all prove the allegation. Because the truth is were not. We get less oil than before the liberation. Im guessing the main reason is Bush's over arrogance. I dont give a shit what your view is but im not going to take you saying that the military invaded Iraq over oil. One its bullshit and two it disrespects every service member who has sacrificed for Iraq.

  • yeah the Mujahedin. Sunnis, shiites, northern alliance and taliban, toothless goatherding ragheads with AKs. From 10 meters away its hard to tell the difference isnt it.

And now you are asking ME, a single person, to prove to YOU, a US military dude, americas motive for moving into Iraq? Isnt that a bit like trying to prove to the pope in Rome that there is no god.

  • What I initially said was you cant afford this medling anymore and next time you illegaly occupy someone for oil, Europe and Russia might not allow you to do it.

I know questioning anything under the flag is a declaration of war with you guys. Any hint of criticism is inevitably met with infernal flagwaving and OMG.. YOU HATE AMERICA!!! Well... If america and americans had the ability to accept criticism and even look abroad for answers, you might not be in the shit you are in these days.

  • @Janusha

You still have not given one reason at all to prove we are in Iraq for oil. Unless you do so then quit mentioning such bullshit. I hate our government. But our military is the best and most precise in the world. We have the best interests for Iraq and Afghanistan. Your just another misinformed little kid on the internet who has nothing better to do in Norway than bash the United States. Have fun being a disrespectful piece of shit.

  • As I said above, luckily the burden of evidence isnt on ME now is it.

Nobody is doubting the american militarys ability to kill. Its all very big and very professional. What Im saying is that you can no longer afford meddling abroad when you cant clean up your own country. I mean... Cant afford a public healthcare system for all in 2011?? It sounds like a bad joke. New York and California along with half cities in USA declared bankruptcies. At what point is it time to accept some criticism ?

  • Then there is obviously the fact that you probably havent thought of... What happens when suddenly 100 000 or 200 000 or however many soldiers you have abroad, all comes home at the same time. Without jobs or prospects for the future. Adding to americas already horrible unemployment rates. Experience shows ex military people turn to organised crime and robberies when they dont get work. Already 1 in 7 americans live beneath the poverty standards. It might be cheaper to keep them at war abroad.

  • Stop imperialism you stupid american fat fuck face, you are all idiots, your goverment keep stealing from other countries sources and their products,in name of democracy,FUCK YOU ALL DISCUSTING FAT STUPID NATION!!!

  • at least were starting to bite the bullet kinda on the slow side but who knows what would happen to the doller if we paid it all right know i still have faith in the doller and the true american WORKER i have a bad back kricky neck and im a vet

  • lol you blame another country, wow isreal is the problem huh?dummy

  • What had happened was as suburbanization swept through the east and midwest, many rich people took the money somewhere else. The Federal housing authority ( the institution that granted loans ) redlined districts to keep minorities and the poor out. Thats why most people in the midwest are blacks or hispanics

  • Oh my god.. how can this happen in the richest country in the woooorld right.

Well... SOME people are rich but in general america really isnt rich at all. While this goes on they are STILL shouting about best country in the wooorld and still confident in their own superiority simply for being american.

If america and americans were able to look abroad for answers, they might not be in this crap that they are in today.

  • @Janusha What you see in the country is caused by both wrong affirmative action policies and uncontrolled immigration (aka birthright citizenship, a right not recognized in Europe). US population has grown by 60 million units since 1990. That´s 3 million a year, 70% of Norway population.

  • Detroit fell from grace because the big3 car companies were run to the ground in a spectacular hailstorm of arrogance, naivety and gross mismanagement. US cars had dropped in quality for decades to the point where they only sold cars in USA by sprinkling them with patriotism. So. When the financial crisis started, they didnt have an Asian or European market to rely on. So while everybody noticed the crisis, only american companies actually died. Then there is your flawed government system.

  • You see. In america you have no security. Once your job goes, so does your pension, your house, car, health insurance and your government stands idly by and watches this without offering any assistance except foodstamps and "welfare". Because in america, socialism as entirely "unconstitutional" even tho its the basis for every civilized country. Instead you had up to 3000 people losing their homes a day.

  • There is only one way to make money legally. Its called work. If you dont have work, everything you do to get money is pr definition a crime. And what does USA do with criminals? They lock them up forever. Because when they get out, they still dont have jobs and do more crime. When they are locked up they arent looking bad on statistics for homelessness or poverty. So america, land of the free, has 1 in 40 in the prison system. 1 in 9 blacks are in jail. 1 in 4 prisoners in the world are in USA.

  • @Janusha Ford is far from being broke. GM is making a good comeback, being the leader in China. And Chrysler will merge with Fiat. Anyway, i would not say the auto industry is the most accurante representation of US business strength. For example, USA is the only western country able to seriously challenge east Asia in electronics, computing and IT

  • Ford did slightly better because they took out a 23 billion dollar loan right before the shit hit the fan. So they got loans to pay instead of government aid. They were also under bankruptcy protection just like the rest. Chrysler was given away to Fiat for free to avoid a complete collapse and GM fled the country. Todays GMs are built in Canada, Mexico, Brazil and many of them are rebadged korean Daewoo. The top 50 selling cars in USA for 2010 had only 7 americans on the list.

  • Today GM talks about "back to business" and having paid their loans ahead of time from behind lying whitened teeth. While 2 monts ago Pontiac died and in Germany GM is begging for more government aid to "restructure" Sure they have repaid their loans. But the 52 billion in aid money will never be seen again. A total of 100 billion was spent bailing american cars out so that they could move production abroad. Which is a bit like buying a shopping mall so your kids can have a summer job.

  • Also dont diminish the importance of the auto industry. Its VERY important for a big country to have production. Sure there is IT, biomechanics and other areas that america is good at, but those areas arent going to employ the now hundreds of thousands of laid off manual labourers whos only qualification is to fit fenders to GM trucks. And even american computers are largely made in China. China who in return are bleeding america dry in the name of your own capitalism.

  • @Janusha Renault and Peugeot got government money in 2009 and they are doing pretty well not. Besides the stimulus programs. It´s not a sin. GM is hiring again in USA and they were only 30,000 units behind Toyota worldwide sales in 2010, so maybe they are not that "shitty".

  • @Janusha by the way, what are you trying to say?

  • a single bomb being drop in afghanistan and iraq can feed a family for a month

  • @G4nj4Us3r Well, advanced bomb actually cost as much as a double American average annual household income.

  • @000Winter000 Not just a car, a Mercedes-Benz

  • its strange that they don't have food but almost all of them are overweight..bad food?

  • @feixbix When you go to an improvised neighborhood you're not going to find a Publix or a Whole Foods supermarket because people from low incomes cant afford to buy food there. What you will find are corner stores and McDonalds every few blocks selling cheap processed food full of empty calories, fat, and sodium. So the problem isn't necessarily because they eat too much food, but the fact that they don't have access to cheap healthy food. So yes. Bad food...and lack of exercise.

  • you are a complete fool,, sure elements in israel are evil, but what do you suggest,, are you one of those kill all jews type of pig that will go to hell cant you see that the iraeli policies are reactionary to those that want to wipe them off the face of the earth,, Id like to know what you would do if you were surrounded by millions of people who want to kill you. people who believe in islam where Does say to kill all jews, and teh financial problems are created by the world banking cartel

  • if the poor would stop reproducing kids the problem could be solved. If you are poor, don't bring children into your mess. Get educated and focus on a career. Stop feeling sorry for your circumstance and make a change.

  • Do they sell their food stamps?

  • Blaim Bill Clintion for passing nafta passing the world free trade agreement. And blaim George W. Bush . for shipping out all the jobs out of usa. Tax bresks for the millionaries and billionaries. and giving the poor and middle class the shaft.

  • great channel,,,really makes you aware whats going on around us...please check my site for song and video on poverty youtube.com/watch?v=kHtoD5biBXE

  • When you count every thing in there is hidden around in departments, the US spend 1,500 billion dollars, or even more on the military, that's a hell of a lot of money.

  • They can't make ends meet but yet they keep spitting children out of their vaginas like its a fucking clown car. Stop having kids idiots!

  • I don't get it. She said their is not enough money for food yet she is overweight!

  • If the Unemployed would just join the fucking military there would be less problems in the world, people would greatly fear the US if their active military surpassed China's. US never leaves it's people behind - they'll always have a job for you. American's don't know poverty yeah right tell that to the kids in Darfur.

  • Ummm... is it me? Or is "jenny" who "can't afford to buy food for her mother and 3 year old son" driving a Mercedes Benz? Yeah, welcome to America. Maybe it's the Public Assistance that's paying for it? I'm happy to be employed and can only seem to afford my Volkswagen!

  • I'd like to know how many of these kids are out of wedlock...

  • You call this poverty go look in India, China or south of AmeriKKKa thats poverty not these obese humans and instead of enjoying the good times while your country bombed and overthrew other governments you should have been stoping it. Now enjoy what you lazy fat Ameri-cunts have comming.

  • @realkingkado

if the US spend a lil less on defense ( about $600 some billion dollers which more than all of any other countries combine ) they can feed their starving people and help poverty,

  • There needs to be a Voting Revolution. Its time to bring in 3rd Party Candidates that will serve the needs of Americans instead of Corporate and/or Special Interest.

If we keep voting Republicans or Democrats we'll all eventually be in a soup line.

  • So, Obama plans to double US exports in the next 5 years. Besides arms, financial services, fast food and entertainment, what can the US actually export to the world? And which countries will be their target market? In Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, nearly all automobiles and consumer electronics are either local brands or Japanese, Korean or Chinese. I haven't been to other parts of Asia, but I presume that it is similar. Can anyone enlighten me on this?

  • @RoniCMaster USA is a big exporter of industrial machines, semiconductors, civilian aircraft, jet engines, medical equipment, excavating and agricultural machinery, etc. OK, your IPad and Xbox are assembled in China. No big deal. In january the value of US exports (seasonally adjusted) is the highest ever. After a 20% increase in 2010 (goods exports, excluding services) this year will probably see another +15-20%. So maybe exports will be doubled in less than 5 years.

  • why are so many of these poverty stricken people so fat?!

  • @hahahoho2006

Why are you So judgmental and are so Shallow?

Who cares what they look like, people need to LIVE without Scarcity or Fear.

How about have a little compassion for your fellow man/Woman?

  • life is a bitch and then you die

  • @MexCan65 they'll turn us on ourselves. Black vs White, Rich vs Poor, socialist vs capitalist, you vs me....they'll push us into a civil war & allow it to happen until we're too week for a revolution.

  • LOL.. Your poor have cars?? Here in Brazil our poors don't even have a decent house. When this start to happens in USA, you are oficially third world.
