  • like if YOU ARE A VEGAN!

  • It would be nice to have seen what some of the dishes are??? It all looks great... From afar! x

  • I am going to have a nice cooked turkey thanksgiving day :) Big turkey, lots of sides, dinner rolls, Pie for dessert with DAIRY whipped topping. Vegan life isn't for me and raw food isn't either. I have a stove for a reason :)

  • Dessert*

  • Yuck

  • I think it all looks great but I would miss bread, cheese and fish too much to got completely raw

  • I wish I had thanksgiving with you. the food sounds great

  • You spelled "dessert" wrong.

  • Recipes PLEASE!

  • looks very healthy

  • Tell me what the foods are! Saw a lot of dishes but have no idea what they were. And you misspelled "Dessert".

  • What annoys me most about "raw food" people is the religious type ambiance associated with it. IT'S JUST FOOD PEOPLE, GET OVER IT! Raw food spoken ever few seconds. Makes them look like retards. How? Imagine a pizza party and every few words that comes out someones mouth is "pizza". Btw, I'm what you'd consider a raw foodist but it's not a religion to me like pizza or hot dog consumption isn't a religion to others.

  • im a vegan but not a raw vegan ;l

  • @thatsclasssy whats the difference?

  • this could of been interesting unfortunately the presenter is total crap, she doesnt hold the microphone so we cant hear what they are actually saying and at times I think she is just taking the piss out of these people....

  • if all they eat is raw fruit and veg, why bother having a stove in their kitchen? sorry, i'm not trying to slag them i'm just curious is all.

  • Must be great to have a family of vegans. I'm so jealous; in a good way. Peace.

  • Comment removed

  • hell yes vegans and vegetarins rule

  • good video, very interesting. not very well done.

  • so basically, a salad bar w/ fruit then ? wow It's a good thing you made this video! I never would have thought of that like every cheap restaurant of grocery store that has them.

  • That little girl is getting on my nerves....

  • I'm going to have Tofurkey this year for Thanksgiving while the rest of my family eats the real turkey. Sadly, they don't want me to eat Tofurkey since they think I'm placing a negative image to my younger sibling. To that I say, Fuck them :] I'm having some veggie shit.

  • I like this. This is really cool. I'm going to have a raw thanksgiving too this thanksgiving. It's going to be hot.

Raw food done with low fat properly coordinated really makes your health better and life overall.

  • wow she looks like shes being sarcastic the whole time it's hilarious! she's like "wooooow, we're so lucky." with this look. its so funny.

  • The should have raw turkey for thanksgiving, that's Raw!

  • That is just awesome. I really wish I got invited. Looking at the recipes, you KNOW it has to be delicious and feel energizing as opposed to feeling drowsy and lethargic after a traditionally heavy Thanksgiving meal.

  • Wow! I thought a raw thanksgiving dinner couldn't be done. I stand corrected. I want to try that mock turkey.

  • well, that sure is a dream kitchen!

I had a raw vegan thanksgiving, it was superb! I never felt so good.

  • God has EVERYTHING to do with it. God created ALL of this amazing food for us to eat and live long lives! As for the people who say the bible tells us to eat meat... do your research, you won't find that anywhere!

  • KOO KOO KOO KOO!

  • Yaaaay! Go vegan and vegetarian!! Raw food is amazing. Anyone who says that God "made" us to eat meat is clearly full of crap and ignorant. They're in complete denial and are just too lazy and stupid to do the right thing--go veggie.

  • You really are clueless about what you'd eat if it didn't include dead animals, aren't you? :)

  • @2:37 they mention "RAW DESERT" Wow! eating raw means eating the DESERT!!!

  • That's the most pitiful thanksgiving I've ever seen. If they seriously ate that log of previously digested "I can't beleive its not turkey" and still couldn't beleive it wasn't turkey, hey need mental help.

  • a friend i know eats a lot of meat and his cholesterol level is 800. He is out of his mind as he isn't eliminating his cholesterol, he is merely cutting back. I fear he will just drop dead one day. He's a living testament as to what eating animals and animal byproducts can do to a person. He seems ignorant in the fact that he doesn't realize how dangerous it is, yet his cholesterol numbers speak for themselves!

  • well they obviously don't eat raw all the time because they seem to have a big arse stove that I would give my eye teeth for!!

  • here here!

  • I was really excited to find this video...but I have to say I was expecting more information out of it. I've been trying to go raw for a while now...so I'm a supporter of the cause. That said...this video lacked direction. It just didn't really go anywhere. Maybe I was expecting too much.

  • I watch a lot of raw foodists on vid. as I'm a raw fooder myself. There does seem to be a certain propensity for talking like a small fairy who's just wondered under a mushroom in the dingly dell and inadvertently swallowed somewthing magic which has made one a little starey eyed and weird.

Isn't it possible to find raw food delicious without becoming a lovey-dovey little munchkin, or does this space-cadet vernacular come with the terrain?

  • I couldn't agree with you more Hannamaria. The girl doing the interview seemed stoned to me. The video went no where. It was like several intros edited together with a stoner girl talking about love, sunshine and saying long drawn out "wow"s.

I cringe when animal-eaters see things like this. This is why we are stereotyped by society as flakes. So embarrassing.

  • I kinda agree too. The video seemed a bit uncoordinated for my taste. I wish it would have been a bit funner and cheerfull. But it was interesting all in all.

  • i could not agree more with u

they make it seem like raw foodists r some new age hippies

i personally do it for my health and i love the way it has changed my skin, hair, and nails

the only normal raw foodists i know of are ani phyo and dhrumil. even david wolfe is a bit much at time.....

  • I agree with you...

  • @shasanni OMG! I am not the only one who feels this way! I have said it b4 to others, thanks for saying it for me a year b4 I did!

  • @Weewinkle7 certainly ur not the only one lol

raw food is a way of eating. gotta live ur life. i see some raw foodies making this some kind of religion! for goodness sake! (and these r sometimes the unhealthy looking ones)

u know what? ever since i broke off from the raw food "gurus", i've experienced more benefits and a peace of mind. maybe other raw foodies/vegans should do the same =)

  • @shasanni yes about the unhealthy looking part AND SO YES on the religion part! If you listen to some raw foodies they'll even advise you to cut out all the deliciousness: raw chocolate, coconuts, avocados... kinda extremist and they're some of the ones that look borderline emaciated! I'm all for moderation but cutting these things out completely is too much for me. Whatev. I totally agree with you. You gotta live your life, it's just an awesome way of eating! :)

  • seems to be a fair bit of sarcasm in her voice

  • Wow! Thanks for the video. Cooking destroys a lot of the vitamins and other nutrients we need for good health. Thanks for the recipes.

  • I don't think this video could have done more to discourage raw diets than if it had been made to purposefully discredit you.

It fails to focus on what each 'dish' is and can't even spell the #@%^ing word 'dessert' correctly. The interviewer sounds like an incredibly stupid, giggly airhead at 2:00, and the camera barely pans over the food before cutting back. Sloppy, sloppy garbage.

3:13 "a loving atmosphere... a lot of love in this food..." Dip@#$^, think a cooked dinner isn't made with love?

  • Jeez don't be so harsh at least she takes the time to put these videos together...you have zero.

  • I'd point out that you also have zero vids, but you probably wouldn't see the irony.

Besides, there's the saying that it's better to be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and dispel all doubt.

  • You don't see me criticizing people that post videos though do you?

There's a saying, keep your fucking mouth shut if you can't improve silence.

  • "You don't see me criticizing people that post videos though do you?"

Citations please. Please point out where I attacked people posting videos in general.

Note that literate people would have noticed that I was criticizing the poor production quality of the video when it was CLEARLY trying to look professional and prove a point of view, albeit failing miserably, then I criticized the idea of raw diets. Where am I making these vague, broad, personal attacks that you're claiming?

  • although i agree with you on a number of things, i dont believe she said cooked dinners are not made with love, she simply said this raw one was made with love.

for example, if i were to say that horses have tails, it is not the same as me saying that all other animals do not have tails. see the logic?

  • do you think its just a coincidence that those who eat raw veg are super healthy? dont have colds, flus, heart disease, high cholesterol, diabetes, cancer or the plethora of other health issues that plagues most of the population?..no! its because they've come to a pretty obvious conclusion: the standard American diet is BAD FOR YOU

  • wow!!some of these comments are so incredibly ignorant!if humans were "suppose to" be eating animals, it wouldnt be killing us by doing all sorts of damamge to our bodies!i used to be an omni, then vegetarian and now vegan. im really interested in starting to incorporating more raw foods into my diet to one day be 100% raw.its upsetting that some people are still so close minded about veg/raw diets.

  • thats it, i'm going 100% vegan...and then raw.

  • Can someone say sacchirine sweet? *throws up*

  • Keep up offering this information to those who choose to learn it. And ignore those who don't understand.

  • Ah your just being unthoughtful. I can deal with that.

  • message related to Poofyponcho's comment on mine - again I loved your video.

  • Thanks for the awesome video. I very much appreciate the way you spotlighted the family members, however, as an interested cook I would have really liked to see some of the food a little closer up and spotlighted a bit more. Nonetheless the video gave me awesome ideas for giving thanks next week. Keep up the good work.

  • Got your attention :D hahahah, but yeah I don't like vegans because they are like muslims, trying to push their religion on us, justr like vegans try to push their r-tarded beliefs down Animal eaters throats. I am an dforever will be an animal eater, now you better learn to love that or you can't love me.

  • I love you, all animals, all plants, the Earth and in general the Universe and its constituents. The question is one of having the best life you can possibly have. In other words a maximization problem. A vegan does without certain foods so that they can experience the joy that comes from respecting life, consciousness, and in general love. If you are interested in hate, anger etc. then enjoy but you are probably not so please think twice my friend about what you really want.

  • Well if you are interested in Jesus and God, then you will eat animals. Becuase God says we are allowed to eat them and can do what we want with them. I love animals too, but I eat them becuase that is our way of life. That is what we are supposed to do, its written in all the Great Bibles, and now I spread the word to you. God maybe crying knowing we aren't eating what HE provided for us, like COW and all of the other delightful animals. HE created them to be tasty, and delicious for a reason.

  • Now come to me my friend, and learn the Word of God, and you too shall become a Omnivore and eat both Animal and Vegetable.

  • What? *laughs insanely* Are you trying to assimilate us back into meat eating with that? God gave us animals, yes, but we don't have to eat animals if we don't want to. God also gave us the power of choice, which makes us even more human than our diets.

  • why not check out hacres website. Thats christians who believe the bible says be veggie. Also the big J.C. was an essene which means Vegetarian and what's more - he was not a white man either!

  • if there were no spices meat would taste like crap, unlike fresh fruits and veggies that naturally taste good.

  • No way, nasty. Have you ever cooked a carrot, and just ate it without adding salt or anything? How about a Salad, with no dressing, or any other condiment? It tastes plain. Meat, on the other hand tastes great, even if you don't add anything to it. I like to add A1 sauce to it, just like you add dressing on your salad. Meat is much better than vegetables, but I eat both, cause Vegans simply lost their mind.

  • Have you ever tried hunting an animal down, and eating it, raw, right then and there with your teeth and bare hands? no, its not in our nature. But have you ever eaten a vegetable or a fruit with your teeth and bare hands?

    Don't insult vegans, respect them

  • Actually yeah. I eat sushi, and uncooked sushi at that. I would eat raw animal, but it is cleaner cooked and tastes better cooked, just like vegetables taste better with seasoning. I can't remember the last time I saw a vegan eat a raw salad without putting some kind of dressing, croutons, or something else on it to add flavor. God gave us palettes for a reason, fool, and you have to add seasoning and dressings to your salads to make it taste good, wheras i ad nothing to meat and its delicious.

  • You've obviously never eaten raw food in this context. It isn't simply uncooked food. You don't just eat a head of lettuce or whatever. It is all wonderfully seasoned and delicious. Most of it is "cooked" meaning that it is heated but not to a temperature above 115 degrees F in order to preserve the nutritional value of the food.

Oh, and "God" has nothing to do with any of it.

  • lets kiss and makeup.

  • Right on, adrian.

Or give a baby a bunny and an apple. Guess which one she'll eat and which she'll play with? :)

  • @adriandoher I have tasted the raw liver of a deer I brought down

  • @adriandoher You sound like a murderer! I'll watch out for people like you

  • @adriandoher Its in our nature to eat meat. It tastes better cooked :). Thats why we have fire and stoves.

  • Have you ever tried raw fresh animal flesh? Or animal skin? I bet it tastes just like KFC yumm

And i think God would cry because of the hatred, wars and greed in this world, not because some people have chosen not to eat animals.

  • He'd be too squeamish to watch what actually happens to the animals he eats, let alone do it himself.

  • Muslims pushing religion?? Try Morman's or Jehova's. Just turn the TV on on Sunday morning - whose pushing now!

What's worse is meat eaters who look for vegan information just so they can complain about how its bad. If it's so bad, just save your breath and by your reckoning all vegans will die of malnutrition by next weekend at the latest.

  • Vegans are like rebels. They do it so they can rebel against the system imo.

  • In a way, I guess.

  • a well balanced vegan diet is much healthier than most peoples diet. someone that spouts off how stupid vegans are while eating a big mac and fried needs a serious nutrition lesson. however, a vegan diet is not the optimum choice for human beings.

  • That editing and audio was atrocious. And the host was not very... talented.

    Otherwise, good lookin'.

  • You talk about the bible and God's words, and now you are talking about hatred and about killing people that have a different life than yours? You are such a hipocrite.

  • What a beautiful Thanksgiving that must have been. I'm doing pretty well with my vegan cooking, but a raw Thanksgiving, how wonderful!

  • Can someone please explain how you can have raw pumpkin pie??? I really dont get it, dont u gave to bake pumkin pie??

  • They probably used a dehydrator.

  • How do you use that? Or rather, what does it do?

  • Very cool. I was really wondering what the heck I was going to eat on Turkey day. Yahoo!

  • Everyone is so thin and healthy looking. That is great.

  • Can I please come live with you?? :)

  • Nice video but the tv host needed to place the microphones closer to the people. Audio was not the best. Great effort. Dessert looks great.

  • I wish we could've seen more of that food...

  • Same here! *mouth waters*

  • Hi

Awesome, it makes perfect sense a cruelty free Thanksgiving. Hugs and peace.

    Bye

  • I wish I could have been in the presenter's shoes!

  • I had a vegan Thanksgiving, but this year I will be having a raw one!

  • Awsome.
