Selma is another skit in the movie where the guy who yells it gets sucked into his tv and is yelling for his wife Selma to get him out - makes sense when you see this clip in the whole movie.
@freddy3911 Well, the other bloke explained this, but its really not worth watching the whole thing for this bit. The other good bit is the Carrie Fisher bit. I clocked your site. have you seen 'Dog Soldiers', 'Creep' or its sixties version 'Mind the Doors' with Donald Pleasance? What about 'Torture Garden', 'Doctor Terrors House of Horrors', 'Vault of Horror', 'The Gorgon', 'The Quatermass Experiment' ('The Creeping Unknown' to you), 'Night of the Demon' (Dana Andrews), 'X-The Unknown'? Ta ta
@ajivins1 Thank you for responding. I don't know of the things you mentioned to me. I ended up ordering this movie on Amazon.com. It is hilarious. I also like the scene with Arsenio Hall in the apartment, David Alan Grier as Don "No Soul" Simmons, SON OF THE INVISIBLE MAN of course and it was a cool surprise seeing Ralph Bellamy (from things such as THE WOLF MAN 1941 and GHOST OF FRANKENSTEIN 1942) in the TITAN MAN clip.
@freddy3911 Well, I thought bits of it were funny. This was the best bit though & Carrie Fisher's always watchable. I don't remember Ralph Bellamy in it but I'm sure Steve Forest was. The story I heard was that some old actor on his uppers asked Landis (I think it was directed by Landis) for a job of some sort to pay the mortgage and landis knocked-this-up quickly with a part for him. I think there actually WAS a real 'Son of the Invisible Man'-picture with Vincent Price, it was the second one
@freddy3911 Its a while since Iv'e seen it so I'll take your word for it! You know, I think bellamy was one of Niven's friends in Hollywood and the two of them were fed-up with all the scandal sheets and everything so they gave them something to write. At an awards, Niven turned-up with Bellamy's wife, trying to hide his face while Ralph turned-up with Niven's similarly coy. they each got their own tables (with the paps eagerly awaiting the confrontation) and then, outraged 'noticed' each other!
@freddy3911 PART TWO Bellamy jumped up from his table, seeing his wife with Niven, Niven did the same and the two charged towards each other on the dance floor! All the reporters had their cameras ready-and Niven and Bellamy proceeded to waltz...
