I think that's misapplying a generally good rule of thumb for trust. Obama is the president of the United States, not someone you are asking to watch your child.
I realize you said "all your trust" but with alot of folks that will translate to "any". We need to START the Obama presidency trusting that he is going to do the best he can, and trusting him and ourselves enough to participate and try to heal this country and the world. We have to do it now-there isn't much time left.

If you heard Obama's speech in Germany he made very clear to Europe that he wants us to draagged into sending more troops and funding to US war on terror in Afghanistan & expanding war in Pakistan.
Our economy is going to go into recession and national security further undermined unless Britain's anti war movement to wakes up to say we like Obama, but we're ending our involvement in this false war on terror creating more terroism.

I love how all these racist white people are praying for the downfall of this country just so they can say Obama was a bad president. I have never seen a President get attacked like this right after the election. Wanting the president of the United States to fail is unamerican and ignorant. efeez, there have been several blacks at my university who have threatened whites for wearing McCain buttons. In one incident, a young white lady was cornered by blacks in a secluded area. She was harassed, called a "bitch," and told that "whites will be our slaves now!" Add to all of this that news outlets don't report black on white crime (such as the Newson/Christian murders) with the frequency that they report other types of crime. It's a travesty.

You have to open your ears and realize how he used the term "Uncle Tom" and don't get it "twisted." He also said Uncle Sam, it was a play on the word "Uncle." Nader is NOT a racist. His VP was a latino. And his parent were immigrants from Lebanon, his family's native language is Arabic, and they were of catholic faith. Nobody's hating on black people, not even ME just like Obama, I'm half white and half black.

Everything Nader said here was factual & legitimate critism which has nothing to do with race. He wants the pointless war on terror to end & that won't happen unless we're all apply pressure to end the war before Obama implements plans to increase it in Afghanistan & Pakistan. That would make the Obama legacy better, not worse.
On election night many understood his argument, but I agree he acted out of character to use a racially insesitive phrase, even if there was no racist intent.
