really...? I bet you are one of those who preach the gospel of money! The fact that we are born again doesnt mean we can go on sinning! I know im saved and im always going to be saved! Because Jesus lives in me and is never going to leave me! I sin! But i hate sin! i wish i couldnt sin anymore:( but i cant! only Jesus can help me and He wont leave me because he is my Father! Stop spreading lies! Jesus is LOVE. He wont leave us
@doggydogg28 Yes, I preach the gospel of money every day. All I care about is the ppl's money. I'm just that greedy. I'm so greedy that I allow all my material to be free and don't do advertising on this channel... very greedy money gospel in deed.
so according to osas, a married man can carry on an affair for years ignore warnings to end it and when he dies while having sex with his mistress expect to go to heaven?? hebrews chapter 10 is clear wilfully sinning = lost salvation.
NobodySpecial85. If you believe the gospel. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 then why on earth would you deny OSAS? What can cause a salvation that was already paid for 2000 years ago by a sufficient sacrifice to be lost or canceled. Denying OSAS proves a person is really NOT trusting in Christ and the FINISHED work of the cross because they think they can do something to undo his perfect sacrificial work! You may be Once Saved but if you are why deny ALWAYS SAVED!
@jacksmack77 Why even care? If we believe on Jesus Christ and Him crucified, if you're right then it doesn't matter what I believe... I'm ALWAYS going to be saved!
However, if I'm right then it does matter that I not live a life of sin, but strive to live a life of holiness and obedience unto Jesus Christ... Christ in me!
I believe the gospel of Jesus Christ, therefore I'm saved... according to your logic. However, you and I are not on the same page. My testimony video speaks for itself.
Nobodyspecial85. Denying OSAS is unbelief. I never said he was a believer. A believer is someone who believes in Jesus for the promise of eternal life that can never be lost! If you think it can be lost, it is not eternal. Jesus doesn't offer temporary life he offers ETERNAL life. John 3:15. John 17:3. Therefore to deny OSAS means you are still NOT believing in Jesus for what he offers ... namely, eternal life.
@jacksmack77 So even though I deny OSAS, yet I'm saved because I believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ (1Co 15:1-4), I'm not always saved even though I'm supposed to always be saved? Doesn't that sound a bit contradicting?
Jesus NEVER taught Once saved, always saved. Not once. He taught "they that DO THE WILL OF MY FATHER WILL BE SAVED."
Also, Jesus taught that "many will come in My Name, and I know them NOT"
There are many denominations, but there is ONLY ONE CHURCH. The Church was begun by Jesus and the flock is "tended" by the successor to Peter who hold "The Keys". That man is a BISHOP (1Tim3; Tit1:7; 1Tim5:17; Heb13:17; Mt16:17-19; Jn21:15-18)... and he is the 265th successor to Peter.
I allowed your comments to be posted up since you provided scripture. However, you cannot fight against a word search on "blot out name."
You can lose your salvation if you seek out those scriptures. How can someone's name be blotted out of the book of Life if they were never in it to begin with?
Now tell me which way is the way to eternal life:
The broad way or the narrow way?
I don't have to have a degree in man's teachings of the Bible to figure out which is the broad way to destruction.
All I have to do is stand on Philippians 2:12 and work out my OWN salvation w/ fear & trembling. If you want to keep preaching anything other than Christ crucified... I'm not holding your hand.
OSAS takes it's origins in Gnosticism... then it didn't appear in mainstream Christianity until the time of about 400AD by Augustine(who was a Gnostic for 9 or so years before supposedly converting)... then it didn't go full force into effect until Calvinism's TULI"P"erservance of the Saints made it really popular. If you think Eternal Security was taught by the Apostles, why do all the men who traveled with Paul/Peter/John write otherwise in their scripts? Clement of Rome, Barnabas?
Also, do a word search on "blot out name" and ask yourself, "Who are the ones to even have their names written in the book of life in the first place? Aren't those the born again believers only?"
Psalm 51:11 also gives us the FACT that you can lose the Holy Spirit. When we lose the Holy Spirit, we lose salvation.
Please also watch my video entitled: Does God Love Everyone?
May the Lord teach you and open your eyes to see the truth.
'woodellkw' please read 1 John 3:7-10 to not take scripture out of context.
Guess what the verse you gave actually means? It means that if you sin you are not a child of God, but a child of the devil! Your comment actually helped me more than went against me.
Know this: Scripture will NOT contradict itself. If you choose to follow a portion of scripture and ignore another portion of scripture... bad news for you in the end. Heb 9:27

You can lose your salvation if you seek out those scriptures. How can someone's name be blotted out of the book of Life if they were never in it to begin with?
Again we must turn back to Matthew 7:20-23.
Tell me this:
Which one is more popular? Eternal Security or Conditional Security?

"word search on "blot out name."
If you are making a reference to Rev 3:5, God is assuring that he wont blot their name out, he's not saying that he will blot their name out.
CASSMAN777 2 years ago
I disagree.
It's very clear that God is telling them He CAN blot out their names. Don't believe me? I'll make it easy for you to understand:
Rev 3:5
"He that OVERCOMETH... I will NOT blot out his name out of the book of life."
The flip side of that?
"He that does NOT overcometh... I WILL blot out his name out of the book of life."
Doesn't take a degree in theology to figure that one out. ;)

You have eternal life now (1 John 5:13). If its eternal, then it lasts forever.
God preserves you (Jude 1; 2Tim 4:18; 1 thess 5:23,24).
The saints are preserved FOREVER (psalm 37:28)
God will cause His people to obey him (Ezekiel (36:27)
You cannot lose your salvation.
CASSMAN777 2 years ago
Ezekiel 3:20-21
The only righteous men spoken of in the Bible are the ones that are already saved.
Know this: Many are called, but few are chosen. Matthew 22:14
Many believe in eternal security, not many live in HOLINESS.
NobodySpecial85 2 years ago
"You cannot lose your salvation."
Do you speak directly from the Lord who is HOLY and does not go by man-made gospels or of your flesh?
I REBUKE THAT STATEMENT IN JESUS' HOLY NAME!

You cant lose your salavtion. Salvation does not depend on you (Eph 2:8,9; Rom 9:16)
Christ grants his sheep eternal life, not temporary life (John 10:27)
Jesus wont cast his people away (John 6:37-39)
Everyone who is draw by the father, WILL be risen on the last day (John 6:44)
All the people who God justified WILL be glorified (Rom 8:30)
Nothing separate believers from the love of God (Rom 8:38,39)
God keeps you and gives you a non-perishable salvation (1 peter 1:4,5)
CASSMAN777 2 years ago
Salvation DOES depend on you: (Philippians 2:12)
Christ grants HIS SHEEP eternal life. Are you a sheep or goat?
Yes, He won't cast away HIS people. Are you the devil's?
Many are called, few are chosen. Are you chosen?
Those who are justified are proven through their fruits/works. (James 2:24, Matt 7:20, John 14:15)
Nothing can separate believers, but you can separate yourself. (Psalm 58:3)
He's speaking to the elect. (1 Peter 1:2) How do you know you're an elect?

How does a believer lose their salvation?
Read John 15:1-6.

But 1 John 3:9 says a regenerated believer can't do that.

Wrong. It says a CHILD OF GOD cannot do that.
